In that situation it was eithe rose the projectile battle because liu kangs is low in which semien would have had to teleport at some point anyway. They both saw the situation was gonna happen anyway and rather than wait to play it out which would have been in liu kang's favor, semiej went for it. It was still smart on ninjakiller's part but I wouldn't say it was a bait. That match was either gonna end with a low fireball or a teleport

If destroyers tournament was multiple games, the other games that are current would be doing much better if they had the current best players. He is still playing Mortal Kombat till this day and is recognized as the best Liu Kang & the best MK pro today (arguably). I def recommend a few videos of his Liu Kang because he is literally insane and his stats don’t lie in that game either, winning 100+ and losing 0 in the Kombat League. Hope that helps.

Yeah you can't spam combos and runs in mk11. You can only spam projectiles. So you need to play strategically, most of the people who are MkX lords will sizzle out in Mk11 unless they learn new skills. See how easily Sonicfox got beat during the live demo. Its like trying to drive an 18 wheeler after having driven a car all your life.

Games were close, Liu Kang isn't op, the ninjakilla combo costs 2 meter, any character even without cancel can make 45%+ with meter. Ninjakilla is just a great player, it's not about Liu Kang.
