Mike, suprise us when your ready!!!! Also an overhead view via your drone would be great . Save that for when your wood yard is finished. Have a good weekend, Bill.
Awe! My dad shared this with me this morning. That’s my dad and daughter you mentioned! As soon as I told him what the neurologist said about her migraines, he sent me that video your family made with Dr. Friedlander. I don’t believe in coincidence. Thank you for making that video! Truly! It brought us so much peace when we finally got the diagnosis. We meet with the neuro surgeon at the end of this month to learn more about what’s next. I’ve shared that video numerous times because he explains everything so well, it helps our friends and family understand what is going on with our daughter. Thank you Morgans, Dr. Friedlander, and Dad :) Blessings to your family.
So happy that she was finally able to find out what was going on. I have shared this video with several people I know that have been suffering from migraines, and most said they never heard of it, or was even mentioned as a possibility by their doctors.
I don't know if you've ever had any misgivings about sharing your family stories on the channel. The fact that you did and your decision help another family is pretty cool. Thanks for all you do Morgans!
Anytime I can share anything with anyone, I do !! And I'm happy to be able to help !! Mike, I can see you're much the same when I see you help your neighbors !! Good for you, and Melissa - your rewards are coming !! Lord Bless you both !!
The story of the viewer that helped his granddaughter reminds me that you never know in the chain of events we call life what link you may be. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us. Stay w
What a wonderful story about how Eva's interview w Dr, Frielander helped another. There is a good reason a youtuber doesn't share some personal things and that's very well understood. That's why I always thank you for sharing w us. Your decision to share Eva's very, very personal event was a very wise decision, it got Eva a ton of prayers, brought all your subsubscribers closer to your family and today we hear how it has helped another. Man, NBC, ABC and the others should drop half their CRAP they broadcast and start airing UA-cam channels like yours! Your decision to buy the LT is a good one I'm sure and am very happy for you. These new things ensure more videos for me to enjoy - and I do so enjoy your videos! Once again i felt warmth cover me as you shared that story. Your channel is rock solid on the #1 top favorite channel on my list. Thank you Mike for sharing, I truly look forward to seeing you tomorrow! 👌🚜❤
Outdoors with the Morgans is a very educational channel not just a wood cutting channel the different projects you do the different ideas you have is very outstanding
I would suggest that you put the sawmill on one of the equipment auction houses. They handle everything and whomever is interested can bid on it. The winner pays the fees and is responsible for transportation. Your only responsibility is to get it to the auction facility. You can "advertise" on your videos what auction house and when it goes up for bid. This keeps you out of it and gives anyone interested an opportunity to bid/buy the sawmill. I believe there is a fairly large equipment auction house in the Pittsburg area that does primarily on-line bidding/selling.
I can only hypothesis what you purchased the new mill for, but whatever the factors for a new mill, surely they would support reasoning to keep it. Maintaining two running mills would be a good back up contingency regarding a production capacity goal, as well as spreading the equipment stress over two mills when appropriate.
Very cool comment on the medical condition. I get a big sense of gratitude when I show someone a trick that they didn’t know about a box blade. It must really be heartwarming that you may have seriously impacted someone’s life in that way
I read the story about the guys granddaughter with the heat aches yesterday then today Mike mentions it, That's great, News really travels, Great videos, Great people.
I've been watching your channel for quite awhile now. I know you have lots of viewers that are not subscribed. I normally watch youtube on my TV using an Nvidia box. The disadvantage to this is it shows the video full screen and doesn't show the links or the like and subscribe buttons. I have just gone to my laptop and liked and subscribed to your channel. I have been undergoing chemotherapy and this channel has been one of my favorites while I'm less active with my own projects. Thanks! Rick Spivey
From the "For What its Worth Department" - No matter what you do there will be a group of people happy, a group of people unhappy and a large chunk of people who won't even know what you are talking about. So, you have two options: 1) Do what you want to do - sell it or give it to a neighbour, friend, family member. Do what makes you happy. 2) Auction off the sawmill. Highest bidder takes it. You can't please everyone, so in this case, do what feels right for you. Cheers and keep on cutting!
100% correct. Doesn't matter what you do nobody is going to agree on it...pretty sure the sawmill belongs to Mike so he's free to do with it whatever he wants....he could dump it in the scrap bin if he wanted, but that thing is worth money even though its been used, but cared after so, he could auction it off like you said, but I have a feeling it'll end up going to someone close by shipping would be ridiculous for something like that so they'd have to be able to come get it themselves, maybe Mike could also charge a handling fee to load it for them HAHA!!! Maybe he could auction it off and the money go to a good charity of his choice...who knows, its Mike's sawmill he can and will do with it whatever he wants. In the end its all up to him as to what happens to it after he gets the new mill, but that's months away so it'll continue to get used of course in the process.
Hey Mike! Good morning my friend! That’s some beautiful lumber! I’m anxious to see the new mill, I’ll wait patiently. I’m really enjoying your content, and watch you every day. Waiting on my hoodie, it’ll make 2 of your shirts so far. I’d like to saw, but the way my life has gone, it’s just as good watching you saw. I’m 65 now, and sawing was something I always wanted to do. I have woodworking equipment I enjoy..so it’s good. Hello to Hunter, Eva and Melissa. Hope you all are doing well. Take care Morgan’s..I’m headed for Indiana and Texas tomorrow! God bless!🎚🙏🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
Okay so you are a Outdoor Channel but before that and you continue to do is you are a loving and caring family. That grandpa did a great thing for his granddaughter. Thank you Mike and Melissa for being here for people of all interests. Love your channel. Hello Hunter. Ed
Repalce the "rope" that you don't like with "Dyneema" rope, very strong and durable and it doesn't stretch so it takes the constant adjusting out of the picture. Dyneema Rope is used on sailboats to replace stainless steel cable standing rigging, the lines that hold up the mast yet it handles like regular rope. On another note, you (the Morgans) have positively impacted the lives of your viewers in so many positive ways.
I would suggest that since you have so many requests to purchase that particular sawmill that you offer it up in auction! That would give everyone a chance.
Hear that Bobby D, some "unsolicited advice" helped his granddaughter. That's awesome Mr. Morgan. Easiest way to sell the old mill is to post an online auction with a reserve. Announce a week or so in advance so all get the word on the posting. I think you'll be very happy with the new mill. Less ways to get injured and much easier on the back. I worked in front of a 52" 50 toothed monster growing up, I know what a sawmill dollar is! Be Safe and many blessings '
Just live north of you folks and have never commented however you never know what information you put out there will help one of your many fans. I have watched your channel for a long time and will continue.
Mike, we got 1.2" out of that rain yesterday, the same stuff you're getting today. The second half of that system is on us right now, and I looked out over my garden, and it is almost flooded... I hope our plants and seeds survive. We surely do not need any more rain for a while. You might consider using your sawmill and start cutting wood to build another ark...
There’s always room for improvements mike, that been a great mill over the years, that was sweet your channel helped a 17 year out, good things happen over the media
The story about the viewer’s granddaughter is touching. I pray she recovers as well as your daughters did. As for how to sell your sawmill, I think ALMOST everyone would understand if you wanted to sell it to a close friend. If there’s more than one draw their name from a hat. You could also include subscribers and randomly draw, say 10. Then go down the list offering it to them. Anyway, just some thoughts. I haven’t commented for awhile I guess.
For your saw mill have an on line auction that way you don't have to hurt anyone s feelings. If they want it all they need to do is be top bidder. Have a day !!!
When it comes to trying to be fair selling the mill, if you decide to sell it to UA-cam fans, you could always put up a short video saying this is the 'selection video' and comment I'm In to enter the selection raffle! Then you can use the free UA-cam raffle picker to pick 5-10 people. 1st pick gets first shot. The price is as listed. No nonsense. Meet the deadline to pickup, pay ahead, and get a photo op, then off you go. Anybody that has issues meeting the rules, roll down to the next one in line. Fair and clean. That is a possible plan if you don't sell to a local friend or neighbor. Love the videos. I learn something new every single one. Thanks!
Just a suggestion for the old mill put it in an area a little out of the way for your son to learn how to do his own lumber and help when you got to many logs to cut have a nice day
Mike that was an awesome story about the young lady & getting help. Prayers for her & her family. One thing that you said kind of made me think a little. It’s not just an outdoor channel. It’s like y’all have always said, it’s family & that’s what family does. It helps each other out in to hard times. I’ll say it till you tell me to stop, this is a great family atmosphere. Y’all have a very blessed Mother’s Day & keep doing what y’all do.
Maybe put your sawmill on eBay... Let everybody know where it is for sale. May the highest bidder get it! Thanks for all your wonderful videos. (Especially taking the time for the different camera shots and ALL THE EDITING you do to give us the best content!) We appreciate you!! Take care and may God overwhelm you and your family with blessings!
Good morning to the Morgan family and everyone watching! Mike when it comes to the sawmill, take care of your friends, what’s the saying, “take care of those who take care of you”?
Mike, When the time comes to get rid of the current sawmill, just get your dealer to give you guidance on the current value. Also to save any upset with friends and acquantancies, perhaps get your dealer to sell it on your behalf, in that way all of the interested parties will have the same chance to purchase your old machine....QED I think...Regards Robin....
It’s really great knowing your video about Eva and the doctor led to the grandfather telling his daughter about Eva’s condition. You may have saved her many years of pain, or worse. Good luck with the sale of the mill. I’m looking forward to seeing the new mill and what’s in store.
Good morning Mike, your youtube channel has helped out many many people through out the years, more than you can imagine. People all over the world have benefitted from different things you have shown on zillions of things in living life as it happens. Yes sir you all are really appreciated with all you have shared with everyone. Thank you so much for helping, you and all of your family are true blessings. Glad you're getting a new and improved sawmill that's going to handle all the milling. Stay safe and keep up the good videos . Fred
Hey Guys..... How about a great big Happy Mother's Day to Melissa and all the Mom's out in Morgan's You tube land!!! Outstanding on the medical sharing Mike..... that literally will change her life and maybe more down the road. Knowledge is so underappreciated.
I thank you should you your old one for teaching or like the local school or like the wood shop can have them come out and learn how to cut lumber using a sawmill to build things with. As a teaching experience
you could either do an only line sort of auction for it, or set a price and do a name draw for who gets to buy it, just make sure they include their contact info when they apply for the draw
This is exactly what I was thinking. Let some people make offers and then use those offers and what you want to get out of it to set the price. Once the price is established, then have the interested viewers send in an entry that you will randomly select. The winner gets to buy the mill.
Sell the sawmill using automated auction software and skip the auction site fees. Do it yourself, have your bank set up a temporary account to accept and verify payment, set a 10 day pickup requirement or next highest bidder is offered the mill, and so on.
Mike, we never know how the life we live can be used to help our neighbors. Love one another, the second greatest commandment! I enjoy the wholesome content of OWTM. Keep up the wonderful content and God bless!
Dear M & M Thanks for all you do on your GREAT videos. You never know who you can help to make someone's life better...Saw mill question.. Why do you shut down the blade before you lift and reverse..when you know your going to keep cutting that log......THANKS Gregg Hoel Fallbrook Ca.
Hi Mike - My wife and I spent yesterday with our 3 year old grandson. Just watching him wears me out. I can't imagine watching him going through an illness. You and your family are outstanding for bringing your daughters illness to the attention of others. As far as the sawmill disposition - think about running a private auction that you run yourself. You mentioned friends and subscribers are interested in the mill. People who have supported you would have an equal opportunity to "buy" the mill from you. No, I would not be bidding.
Very nice story to start the morning! I’ve been staring at a computer screen watching chat assistance, so have been getting OWTM piecemeal today. That was some lightly white sawdust today, and a bunch of really nice lumber. You’ll figure something out with the sawmill! Have a day!
Coming from Columbus OHIO that story you shares at the beginning really warms my heart. I first started to watch your channel because you use Stihl chainsaws and so do I, but I keep watching because of you being so open about your family and your everyday challenges some like that we all experience. And that the faith that your family has and a faithful community that surrounds your family you overcome lifes challenges, and not afraid to share them. I am so touched that you sharing helped one of your listeners.
Great video , everyday progress and beating the weather, and the story of the gentleman thanking the Morgan’s for sharing the Eva’s experience through the channel was very special, the power of everyday connections is a powerful and constructive thing, the theory of 15 degrees of separation shows that somehow someway we are all connected .
Mike & Melissa (Eva too!), that comment along with the info you provided FAR outweighs all the negative comments you folks receive. Just know that! This is my fave YT channel!
Looking forward to seeing your new mill when it arrives. Maybe with all the extra bells and whistles, we might see some quarter sawn lumber in the stacks? The red oak when quarter sawn has a lovely flecked grain pattern which is much sort after. Good luck with all the projects!
Mike, Another possible solution to your issue on selling the Wood-Mizer. One way to be fair to everyone, list the price that you are going to sell it for, then everyone that is interested can enter on a set date, between a set number of hours. As those emails come in put them in a spreadsheet and use the row number as their number for a drawing. Then use a random number generator to pick the winner. Run the number generator two more times so that you have two alternative numbers in case someone backs out for some reason. Not sure that anyone could complain unless they wanted you to play favorites. Knowing you you are not wanting to. Hope Melissa had a GREAT Mother's Day.
I have a great idea for the LX 150. Keep the mill and start a class that teaches young people the skill of milling. This country needs to get back to self reliance more and more and less on imports. I bet you even have friends and followers that would help with the classes...........
Mike , good morning. Online auction service. They come out take photo, put it on the website. Run the auction for so many days. Fees are paid by the buyer.
Secrety secret sawmill operation! ;) Just got my sawmill going last month, having a blast with it. Good stuff with the viewer's kid. And of course your kid too!
Love your videos. How about doing a live auction? The people that are really interested would be online for it. Just an idea. I’m excited about your new mill. Can’t wait to see it and the new saw shed.
Mike, what I would do since there are so many that want the mill, put it up on a live stream for a few hours, then use a top out bid once its over for 12 hours. That way all have the chance to bid for it and you can walk away with some green in your pocket.
There's a guy on UA-cam by the name Chris Harbor who home made his sawmill and one of the many neat things he did was to hang a bucket on the place were the sawdust comes out so for every pass he can catch the sawdust for other uses and keep it from accumulating next to the saw. He builds everything from scratch and scrap in brilliant ways!
I'm glad for that granddaughter and her grandparent(s) for spotting the similarities. Makes me feel good. Gets you just a little. Say hello to Eva, also. Tell her to slow down and wave to the camera sometime!
On line auction, with a set dead line. that way there is no room for complants. do like a 1 month time frame buyer takes care of loading and shipping. you can set a reserve to protect you.
In regards to the Woodmizer LX 150, there is the option of an online auction to give everyone a chance. The proceeds could go towards the new Woodmizer or your favorite charity.
Hello, I just noticed that you have your equipment placed so that you might have to move two pieces to get to the one you need. Your choice, I know. You have the equipment and 'know how' to build a 'storage shed'. I am thinking of a double decker. Where you place something above another to save on space. Without actually being there and seeing what all you go through to hook them up, an upper deck might not be practical. Love watching your videos. Ralph
Mike, have you ever considered constructing a log bay with some more of those concrete blocks and a raised platform to keep off the ground. That way they would all be neatly contained etc. - if you put it adjacent to the cut wood bay you could share a party wall.
Hello Morgans and friends. Beautiful lumber Mike. I'm sure Levi could use the woodmizer on his side of the mountain to build his sugar shack and other various things or maybe even the little one. I hope all are well and tell the family hello please. Have a day and we'll see you down the road..... thanks
I just love seeing the nice lumber come out and a tree so gratifying. As for the mill Mike put everyone's name in the hat and draw one out can't be mad if you don't win.
GIVE THE Sawmill away in a sweepstakes like all the other channels do. If you have the apparel capacity that is. Sell apparel or merchandise or chances to win the mill. $10 gives you 1 chance to win. Or whatever you choose. You will sell a ton of merchandise. Which will in turn be great advertising for you. Then end the sweepstakes after a month or so or when ever is predetermined. Then randomly draw a name for the winner. You will make more than just selling it out right plus who ever wins won't have to pay full price win for everyone. Plus fun . And must be a subscriber to win.
Hi Mike, looking well today, enjoyed the video, wonderful story how you sharing a difficult time in your life helped another family, it must warm your heart knowing how that information has helped others. I agree with most of the other comments about using a third party to sell the mill, you just don’t need that particular burden, take care
Shirts and Hoodies Here www.outdoorswiththemorgans.com/shop
Mike have some kind of lottery pick several names out of a jar or something take the top 5 or 10 then take the top price
Mike, suprise us when your ready!!!! Also an overhead view via your drone would be great . Save that for when your wood yard is finished. Have a good weekend, Bill.
I like the idea of a lottery. But what if you charged $5/10/20 a ticket. But that might be illegal. Sell it privately. Less people will be offended
Mike do a “giveaway” for the mill. For every $5 spent in merchandise on the website, equals 1 entry into the giveaway. A lot of UA-camrs are doing it!
She should put that new saying that she just brought out on wife beater tank tops I mean and hoodies too
Awe! My dad shared this with me this morning. That’s my dad and daughter you mentioned! I have shared this video with several people I know that have been suffering from migraines, and most said they never heard of it, or was even mentioned as a possibility by their doctors.
Prayers for your daughter 🙏
I have Chiari. 9 brain surgeries in 2012 alone. It's crazy what we go through.
I don't know if you've ever had any misgivings about sharing your family stories on the channel. The fact that you did and your decision help another family is pretty cool. Thanks for all you do Morgans!

Being part of the young lady getting help is awesome. Sharing your life made someone else's. Have a drawing for the sawmill buyer!
Thanks for the future surprises, it's what makes your Chanel interesting.
Outdoors with the Morgans is a very educational channel not just a wood cutting channel the different projects you do the different ideas you have is very outstanding
Mike,
My hope is to be in your shoes when I grow up. I just love the freedom and independence that working the land brings. Great videos!

Wow! Three years, I started watching you a month before you got the mill. RK tractors and a totally different look to your operation.
Mike, it must be so fulfilling to be able to saw out such beautiful lumber all by yourself. It makes me feel good just watching! Thanks, J.R.
When I bought my big mill, I kept the little mill and use it for siding and shakes. Woodmizer use to sell a siding jig

Fred
Staining and knots give it character. That's MY opinion. I like the NATURAL things in life.
Good Morning Mike Morgan & Family! 68 degrees, cloudy w/chance of rain here in central NC.
I’m sure you will make the right decision. Trust your instincts and self worth . Have a great day 😀
Whatever you do it will be the right decision for you and your family. Most of us will totally support you! It is your machine
you could either do an only line sort of auction for it, or set a price and do a name draw for who gets to buy it, just make sure they include their contact info when they apply for the draw
Melissa, thanks so much for the orange hoodie. You did such a great job. I had to order a gray one for my friend.
Morning, sunny and warm finally in Ontario....
Never know what Mike's up to, always enjoy....
Time to play in the woods Mike...
Pete from Canada 🇨🇦
Hi Mike you are great on telling us about the weather can you please get a rain gauge it would be interesting is see how much rain you get
Hi Mike - My wife and I spent yesterday with our 3 year old grandson.
Thanks!
Very nice story to start the morning! I’ve been staring at a computer screen watching chat assistance, so have been getting OWTM piecemeal today. That was some lightly white sawdust today, and a bunch of really nice lumber. You’ll figure something out with the sawmill! Have a day!
Send that mill my way!
Keep your detail!!! Have fun stacking!
That Is Some Nice Lumber!! That LX150 Has Been A Wonderful Mill You Got A Lot Of Use And It Has Served You Well !!
Keep Smiling On!!
😀👍👊
Great video , everyday progress and beating the weather, and the story of the gentleman thanking the Morgan’s for sharing the Eva’s experience through the channel was very special, the power of everyday connections is a powerful and constructive thing, the theory of 15 degrees of separation shows that somehow someway we are all connected .
Mike & Melissa (Eva too!), that comment along with the info you provided FAR outweighs all the negative comments you folks receive. Just know that! This is my fave YT channel!
Mike the organizer!...ya and they all want your woodmill at a reduced price!....thanks 4 video. be kind.
Looking forward to seeing your new mill when it arrives. Maybe with all the extra bells and whistles, we might see some quarter sawn lumber in the stacks? The red oak when quarter sawn has a lovely flecked grain pattern which is much sort after. Good luck with all the projects!
With the old mill, you could do a Saturday Night Live and hold an online auction. Then you will know who really wants it!
Good morning Mike. My guess on the “can’t tell” is that you’re getting a kiln 😊
I have a great idea for the LX 150. Keep the mill and start a class that teaches young people the skill of milling. This country needs to get back to self reliance more and more and less on imports. I bet you even have friends and followers that would help with the classes...........
Set up an auction for all interested!
Mike , good morning. Online auction service. They come out take photo, put it on the website. Run the auction for so many days. Fees are paid by the buyer.
you have the neatest wood stacks I've ever seen.
Secrety secret sawmill operation! ;) Just got my sawmill going last month, having a blast with it. Good stuff with the viewer's kid. And of course your kid too!
Mike, you have to be getting a kiln. Can't wait for the reveal.
Woodmizer should take trade-ins. That might solve your situation. Love the story you told!!! Awesome! Take care, Love from Alabama!!
People are selling them used for the cost of a new one so they can skip the wait times. Woodmizer wouldn't buy it back for that price.
I am going to look up Chris Harbor. He seems to be someone like me.
@@realairplane261 I hope you enjoy his endeavors as much as I do! 👍
I had an opportunity to watch a few minutes of the start of the saw mill. The shop alone is really something to see.
@@realairplane261 and his home made windmill and the hydroelectric and the greenhouse and the fense post driver LOL
If it were me, the first person that said they wanted it, that I knew personally and was serious about the mill would get it
I'm glad for that granddaughter and her grandparent(s) for spotting the similarities.
Ralph
Yes Mike we love your channel. I appreciate that you share things with us you certainly have a lovely family enjoy watching you every day.
Happy Mother’s Day Melissa!
Have a day and we'll see you down the road..... thanks
You have quite an eye for composition with the camera ❤
I just love seeing the nice lumber come out and a tree so gratifying. As for the mill Mike put everyone's name in the hat and draw one out can't be mad if you don't win.
Everyone????? Really?? Who's got a hat that big? Who's got time to print out every one's name??
If I had all that equipment, I would make sure its not sitting outside in the elements. Rain is just as bad as snow.
Raffle tickets! For the sawmill, I own the LX 150 with all the options. Including a bed extension.
I ordered my saw mill back in May of 2021 and got it late April 2022. May take longer than you think....
When you get your new mill, you should add a metal or cement trough to catch the saw dust. Clean up would be
better
As far as mill , family and friends and the highest bidder, can’t lose that way .
Mike That Sounds Good About The New Sawmill Good Work I Love Yall
Hi Mike, looking well today, enjoyed the video, wonderful story how you sharing a difficult time in your life helped another family, it must warm your heart knowing how that information has helped others. I agree with most of the other comments about using a third party to sell the mill, you just don’t need that particular burden, take care
Love ya'll channel! God bless yall!
Love watching thanks for helping so many others with your content
