Dr. Sheldrake is an actual scientist. Some have attempted to defame him as a charlatan. But Dr. Sheldrake actually does 'real science'. And in his discourse, he genuinely attempts to educate his listeners. His reasoning is actually reasonable, his logic is never illogical. We are lucky to have a teacher such as him 👏

..I couldn't have said it better myself. I admire Rupert Sheldrake so much. I can thank Professor Heather Heying for turning us, her podcast listeners, onto him or else I don't know if I'd discovered him on my own.

Thank you both!! I want to get a galton board. It reminds me of old toys with a square wooden box my grandfather had with tiny magnet balls that I have saved and played with since a child. I found them so fascinating because the balls would never go to the same place twice. It was difficult to get it into the hole.
    Fascinating, gentlemen.

Thank you, gentlemen. I recently heard American astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, opine he is nearly convinced that everything in the Universe is determined. His zeal is expansive and he is trying to foster allies in the scientific world. Unaided, I could not compose a scientific argument to counter him. You have given me much to consider.

I like NdT but he teaches 101 for laypersons. He's missing the whole point. It would be absurd to draw that conclusion from our vastly limited experience and science. But it gets clicks.

Another great conversation, Rupert and Mark.
It occurred to me when you were talking about how machines provide an illusion of a pure deterministic system (the example being the keyboard that consistently produces “A” when you hit the “A” key) is that even machines fail in that respect. In the case of computers, I’ve run into plenty of brand-new hardware and software that fails in some way, even though it was produced under conditions that were supposed to lead to identical, functioning products.
When we encounter a faulty app or device, we go through the IT dance (reboot, reload, repair, replace) until the thing works like it should. But indeterminacy is always there, ready to interfere even in the most controlled systems.
Thank you for everything, both of you.

Randomness is always playing a part in your life, the woman I was with 24 years, I didn't see her she was behind me at a jury pool. She tapped my shoulder
asked if I wanted to talk we did. I gave her a ride to her car a week later she called me asked if I wanted to see her again I did. And 24 years of the best years
of my life flew by in no time. If I wasn't seated right in front of her that tap would never happen! Total Randomness at work!

Another absolutely brilliant Christian was the LSE statistician D.J.Bartholomew. Have you read his book God, Chance, and Purpose? Perhaps more than anyone else ever he helped explain the limitations of the “scientific” view of chaotic chance being definitive in creation as opposed to the theological determinism which says God is in total control throughout eternity. Bartholomew allows a role for chance and purpose in an ongoing creation. I would be interested to hear Rupert’s view on the book.

With respect to randomness, chance and luck - it seems to me that they are matters of configuration - the relative positions of the observer and the observed. Certainly, there must be causes behind everything that is - if we are unable to adequately envision and 'track' these causes, then, to us, the phoneomenon is 'random'. This field of the unknown is the domain of chance and fortune

Also, the simulation of two bodies is complicated from a computational basis because every increasing significant digit of every value of such a system doesn't result in a convergent solution when run over a series of orbits.

On Earth, there is chaos within an ordered field of equilibrium. However, on Jupiter it is reversed.... there are zones of order within an overall field of chaos. So where we are determines the outcome. And this is evident in the ghetto vs Eton College.

I will give him this vid, and time stamp the about ~Gofson Board with the falling Steelies (29:20 -33:10), and will ask about statistics-impinging “fields” in his work.

Is sound not magnetic ? I imagine that if you were to send sound frequency through the field of the falling balls, the gravitation of the balls will react to its resonance and tone. The sound of Pi would be interesting to try for a unique pattern

Thoughts are the magic wand, intentions load them with whatever the themes of your intentions are.
Casting the lot is a divination technique? They throw them. Therefore, they're consulting higher forces to choose for them, therefore the lot they recieve was divinely chosen?
Tarot is just themes like everything. Its forms patterns, patterns of behaviours and beliefs.
Not punishment Rupert, punishment what for being totally unconcious , blind?
If you believe in angels surely you believe in Devils? You can't have one without the other or any in-between . There is no balance without both of them. A bit of salt and pepper made the flavour just right, food for thought? Literally?
Everything in life and nature is balance
Just constellations the sky and within our psyches, he's tuning in to a specific archetype and her themes for assistance and guidance. Invoking.
Myself and my daughters often buy the same birthday cards even though we were miles apart and hadnt shown eachother what we had bought for the person.
Theres the carnal mind left and all its contebts , themes and symbolism , then the higher mind and all its themes and symbolism in conflict. ☯️
In the ancient times God was their intention but now weve made our own image into God. The intentions morphed. Theres that word Morph. Morphing into different potential fields and well trodden paths, get it. Like a worm hole opens up and through it is a field, We Play the field, dressed up in those themes and when its played out we move in to different themes depending on how you played the game.
    Dreaming, theming, streaming.
I wonder A LOT about props.
    Also our fingerprints.
We are also nature. Everything is nature.
Because we don't shine a light upon them, attention. Paying attention. Reminds me those pf lyrics, Brainwashing through the rod and not the staff.
It all depends on which symphony our hearts are tuned into. We can grow flowers or we can grow weeds poisned seeds. But all plants are medicine.

Great dialogue... But since it is most certain that this world is a simulation/program (morphic fields are its database (of holistically, but somewhat disharmoniously, organized vehicle forms)), all randomness is actually randomness "by design" (i.e whatever is meant to be "random", is pre-encoded to be mathematically random). As for influences (affecting biased outcome), angels (the only "good guys" in this simulation, encoded with "superior" code, to accompany this simulation and to represent transcendent Divine) and demons (archonic rulers that interfere, but are not pre-encoded like the spiritually benevolent angels), are certainly important to mention. (Pantheistic) "God" is actually an illusion (as "loving" God), is a result of the simulation coding, and is NOT our spiritual "saviour". "Human" mind/souls ("drivers" of organic "vehicles") are trapped in this simulation and this pantheistic "God" is just an overseer (as synergy of all fragmented consioussness(es) happening/manifesting "here") of this prison/"school"/simulation. Our true God is "outside" of this simulation, and can be "communicated' with only through angels, so they help with our salvation and guide our spiritual progress.
Thanks! (and all the best to the good souls bringing us these valuable dialogues)...
