      It seems that now Carlos Alcaraz is learning how to activate another gear for when the game gets complicated. Now we are beginning to see a more consistent Carlos Alcaraz and a serious rival to be number 1 all year round and not just for seasons thanks to his quality of play.

Natürlich würde ich gern auch nur annähernd so gut Tennis spielen können wie jeder von beiden, bin aber realistisch genug zu verstehen, dass so ein Können einer extrem kleinen Minderheit vorbehalten ist. Also kein Neid. Aber diese Leiberl passen auf den Basketplatz, nicht auf den Tennisplatz. In Wimbledon würden sie ihn damit sicher zurück in die Garderobe schicken. Und Roger Federer habe ich nie bei einem Match so angezogen gesehen. Der hatte halt Stil - UND Können.

    Carlos' grunt seems to be louder than before.

    • @J.-M.
      @J.-M. 8 місяців тому

      Everyone's grunts tend to be louder and louder year by year. Even players who didn't grunt at all in previous years start grunting eventually, and get louder and louder. It's a very unfortunate trend. I just cannot enjoy Carlos' game at all because of it. One possible cause could be the bigger, heavier and slower balls that tournaments are now using, players really have to push hard to hit powerful shots.

      Alcaraz is extremely overhyped. If it wasn't for his athleticism he would be an average player.

    I understand that we are no longer in the 50s but Carlos playing in a vest CAN'T BE SEEN!!!!

    Too many first pumps and camp looking from Carlos. I really want him to stop doing that after every point he takes. It's too tiring in the long run.
    Just play your tennis and do it in the most important moment like the greats

      Come dice sempre il buon Panatta , il Tennis è uno sport non solo di tecnica ma anche e soprattutto di testa , di concentrazione nervi, autocontrollo . Sonego gioca un bel tennis , è bravo e umile, ha dei bei colpi ma mentalmente non è ancora sul livello di gente come Alcaraz Medvedev Tsitipas Zverev che invece riescono a essere rulli compressori da inizio e fine match .... E' stato comunque molto bravo perchè ha vinto un set contro il nr 2 del mondo ha perso il set decisivo al Tie Break, sfiorando una mezza impresa.
