- Most people online are grossly familiar with the story of Christian Weston Chandler. His troubling past, his comic book, and even the actions he made toward his own mother. There's very few stones left unturned in his life, which means we can peer in and figure out the deeper workings of every facet in his existence, be it from the past, present, or even the future. One significant mark on his history is his involvement in the Liquid Saga, considered to be one of his most fruitful and bombastic arcs. Liquid Chris was the antithesis to Chris Chan, he was perfect in basically every way, how could Solid compete? In this video, we'll be broadly going over the Liquid Saga, Liquid's involvement in Chris' spiraling life, and the long term repercussions for his actions.

I like how liquid in the end got everything Chris wanted. The job, the girl, etc.
Because he truly the real one.
And more importantly, fell out of the cultural zeitgeist once he felt like he played his role long enough to pursue things in his own life while Chris continued to make a fool out of himself on the internet for the next decade and a half.
Solid Chris never wanted a job, though.

The Liquid Chris Saga is the best to have happened. He showed Chris’ hypocrisy, weirdness, and terrible behavior. No harm was done to Chris other than calling him out. sadly will never had a saga like that again
Of all the trolls this was the one person that got to Ian the most.
I mean, aside from gaslighting him and emotionaly abusing him. Liquid "called him out", yet once Chris seemed to move on, Liquid had to find a way to get Chris back in. He was that kind of "if I'm jerk to a , I can't truely be seen as a jerk" type of guy.
Leary was actually someone calling out Chris, he didn't stole his identity, didn't used his emotions against him, he made Asperchu to show Chris how much his own work was plagiarism yet Chris would always pretend it was different.

This is the one true case where Chris couldn't pull some victimhood card even if he attempted to. Leary methodically showed all of his incoherences from copyright to his fake Christianity. If Chris Chan was a game, Leary got all the trophies unlocked.
Liquid watched Chris, then acted like Chris, then went head-to-head with Chris, then became a better Chris than Chris, then went on to live the fulfilled, complete life that Chris always wanted.
As the CWCiki states, (paraphrased) "It's bad enough fighting a mirror that's winning, but worse if it's a funhouse mirror designed to mock you."

Liquid Chris is the best troll possibly ever not only because of how well he knows Chris, but unlike most trolls, Liquid really didn’t do anything to truly harm Chris. He just messed with him a bit, got a reaction, and left.

I never understood why everyone adored Liquid Chris, but hated Kacey. Kacey deserves way more credit, imo. She actually gave a pretty good performance, especially considering how long she had to talk to that imposter Ian Brandon Anderson.

Liquid was the best troll. His trolling didn’t do any physical or financial harm to Chris unlike many other trolls, and just exposed his hypocrisy and bad behaviour. And ironically, despite not really doing anything to harm Chris, he was the troll that got the most visceral reaction

LC was what everyone thinks about when they imagine a troll. Someone who knew his target very well, is one step ahead, didnt over stay, but didnt really do anything that was egregious. No doordashing, no cops called, no broken xboxs, no violence, just playing to their targets weaknesses and letting them self destruct.

This may come to a surprise from someone who has been able to watch countless videos about Chris Chan for a long time, but I never really was a fan of the Liquid Chris Saga, mainly because I did not approve of what happened between Chris Chan (AKA Solid Chris) and Duckworth (AKA Liquid Chris), which may have started harmless enough at first until things became heated towards the end of the singing competition, especially when Kacey pretended to fall in love with Solid Chris while, in actuality, she was in love with Liquid Chris the entire time, and the two would purposely troll him both on the internet and in real life via phone calls. What made this even worse was the fact that Kacey would actually go on dates with Chris Chan himself while secretly recording their conversations, which makes me kinda sick just thinking about it due to the fact that I also happen to be someone with autism, and just knowing about she she did makes me not want to go on a date with anyone I've met, especially if she was able to treat someone with autism in such a despicable manner (even if Chris Chan was capable of the horrible things that he was able to do himself before and after the dates, but that's besides the point). The infamous Father Phone Call was also rather upsetting in some parts, especially after learning that the father on the phone, "Matthew", was actually Liquid Chris pretending to be Kacey's father during the whole conversation, and he was even able to act like a verbally-abusive stereotype throughout much of the phone call as a way of trying to get Chris to improve himself while also making up stories about his own mother dying from the 9-11 terrorist attacks, though I seriously doubt it was even able to work because of how pathetic Chris already was from the beginning, and it also didn't help that Kacey even tried to use the same methods on him during their phone calls (which is probably not at all good for one's mental health, I might add). Speaking of which, Kacey was especially harsh and abusive towards Chris on their last phone call after telling him that she is able to marry Liquid Chris, thus ending the so-called Saga afterwards, and what makes it even more surprising is that they actually are married in real life, though if you ask me, it doesn't actually excuse Kacey for her manipulative treatment towards Solid Chris, even if any of the stuff she said about him during their phone calls was true, and it often makes me wonder if Duckworth and Kacey are even able to have any regrets about what they did in the past, though I wouldn't be surprised if they're actually able to harass other people despite their successful lifestyles they are currently living, but I digress.
