I was surprised at the length of the train. I counted 18 cars, 2 of them baggage/freight. I'm not familiar with train travel so a question. Is that a standard number of cars for the Halifax-Montreal run and what is the %age occupancy ?
Thats a pretty typical consist for the summer season it does get a little shorter for the winter exept for the holidays where we do see longer trains. I'm not sure about the age categories it does vary throughout the year back in the day it would often be used by university students but i'm assuming that must have gone down since service was cut back to 3 runs a week back in 2012
