Fantastic catch well done love the s curve

I was surprised at the length of the train. I counted 18 cars, 2 of them baggage/freight. I'm not familiar with train travel so a question. Is that a standard number of cars for the Halifax-Montreal run and what is the %age occupancy ?

Great video. There is something evocative about a passenger train racing through the snow. Only thing we don’t have anymore is the swirl of steam from the heating system.

Great catch my friend. I been on that train before, which is The Ocean train of Canada. And yes, I completely know all about the reliability issue Via Rail is facing due to freight train traffic. We need new dedicated passenger corridors across Canada so they don't have to run on shared tracks with freights. It's a big problem they're having right now. Canada's population is rapidly growing and we need new dedicated high speed and high frequency rail service corridors across the country

Hey Railfans, great to be back ! Its been way too long since I last uploaded a train video but I'm glad to be back in business ! This particular was shot was filmed with my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE I'll be using that until I get a new camera + tripod ! It takes way better shots than my JVC Everio witch I've retrieved recently. There's a ton of backlog footage on there from 2011 & 2012 witch I'll be working towards uploading in the next few months including a few projects i'll be announcing soon ! I can't wait to reconnect with the railfan communities from my old channel back in 09 Stay Tuned
