Looking good Vinny. I can tell you from experience that Tamiya spray paint can polish up pretty nicely. I know I'll be using more Tamiya spray paints for some more of my upcoming builds.

That compound is awesome, but dont let it sit on the paint or it will gum up and not be effective! I have even used a 12000 grit pad and the compound to really get a good finish. Buff it off and then apply that fabulous polish!

It looks great! Would be curious to see apples to apples comparison with Rustoleum clear? Following closely. I have only used Tamilya and Testors clear. And haha, funny about the shading making your hands look dirty. Those darn pixels!

Vinny, you can't clearcoat over a waxed or polished surface, you have to strip the polish off first.
