When it comes to choking no one can beat south africa. they bottled up a very simple run chase and almost lost the match against a mediocre bowling attack. pakistan's bowlers didn't apply any pressure on the batsmen they were giving away runs easily. it was south africa who took pressure onto themselves and crumbled. being one of the top 4 teams going into semis this is very poor cricket from SA. their weakness has been exposed for other teams to exploit.
I know SA chokes badly but I feel this match, they were trying to persist with their fearless style of cricket that they've been playing in this wc. Klassen, miller and everyone kept playing aggressive cricket. But yeah I agree they could have easily rotated strike and won easily.
That Markram was batting well. He got out on a stupid mistake. If he stuck around, South Africa should have and could have easily won this match!
