I LOVE THIS MASK!!!! It's so easy to make. The fit is perfect. I really appreciate that you modeled it at the end. It's nice to see what it looks like on. Subscribed! 😁
@@carolynmurtaza1180 Use several twist-ties bunched together. I have some that are thin wires encased in plastic. They are easy to cut to size and will wash okay. Sew all around them when you place them into the mask. Actually, I sew right across the middle of the bunch with my sewing machine before I start working with them.
The family that sews together stays together ☺️, and also thank you for being good responsible cat parents. These are challenging times and you are sharing good designs and good 💞 hearts, and a good cat. 🙏
Thanks for the tutorial! I learned a new skill using the ruler. It's good to actually grasp the concept of how people make simple patterns and it also challenges my brain. I appreciate you, DYICrafts JP! Domo arigatou! 🙇♀️
This is a great mask. It was a little short for my face, but once you make the pattern, it is easy to adjust. And easy to sew. I slit the pattern horizontally beneath the side darts and added 1/2 inch. Now it fits perfectly. Thanks again.
I made one with nose wire and one without. The mask is contoured enough that the one without the nose wire still fits quite well. I will make more of these.
Thank you for showing how to draw the template. Very useful for people that don't have access to a printer or people that want to make adjustments. Thank you 😊 will try to make this tomorrow!
I MADE THREE DIFFERENT TYPE OF MASKS AND YOUR MASK WAS #1! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! AND THE PATTERN CAN BE SIZED UP OR DOWN WITH YOUR DRAWING. MY SON AND I CAN BREATHE YEAH I SAID BREATHE! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Just love you both and your adorable cat, glad you got him fixed he will be happier.

I printed the PDF and got busing making it right away. The pattern PDF looked awfully small, but I went ahead and cut my fabric and sewed it per your instructions. I should have followed my instinct. It was too small. I re-watched your video and followed your demonstration, stopping the video many times, and drew the pattern onto paper, from scratch, with your dimensions. The finished pattern was much larger than the PDF in the link. However, now the mask was too big. HO HO, did I ever laugh. Well, I will say this - it is a beautiful mask. I will try to re-draw it and try to make one that will fit me and my husband. We are average sized people - we are not overweight or have large faces. I'm really hoping I can draw the right size mask that will work for us, because it is the best mask I've seen. And even though it was too big (we both wear glasses), we both loved how comfortable it was. It didn't cause us to suck the fabric up our nose holes with every inhale - which happens with most masks. Thank you so much for sharing.
Did you check your PRINTER SETTINGS? And after you printed it, did you measure the 5cm line against a ruler to make sure it was printed with proper calibration?
@@kefirheals7383 I believe the PDF file is set for printing on A4 paper and not letter size paper. For regular letter size paper (8.5"x11") Change the scale of your print setting to 110% and the measurments should then match.
I have made five of these. I'm not great at sewing, but it's not as complicated as it looks! The only change I made was to roll the sides inside themselves and sew flat, instead of folding over twice. No lump, but I guess it's more difficult to replace the elastic. Thanks for the inspiration! My family prefers this one to the others I've tried ♥️ (oh yes and I bought a tiny iron because of this video)
Beautiful couple with beautiful cat, too! Thank you for sharing this pattern. Another compliment; I like the embroidered shirt very much. I'm thinking that it's not hand embroidered but still pretty.
Awesome. I really like the mask with replaceable elastic. Elastic will stretch and must be replaced periodically. Good mask design. You are very expert. I will make it and of course give you credit in the description box. I hope you don't mind. Thank you and stay healthy.
I made this masks. I added a filter pocket ( I learned this from one of your previous videos). I also added a nose piece. This came out nice! Thank you! I did it. 😷👍🌻
Thanks for showing how it fits! I would love to see a video where you show how each of all the designs you’ve shown fits so we can easily see the differences.
The Fabric Patch has several youtube video tutorials and one of them includes instructions for measuring your face for a custom fitted mask using her multi-size pattern. It’s a great pattern.
Such an amazing video and y’all are an equally amazing team (our cat included)!!!!! Add me to the list of ever growing fans from around the world!!!!!!!! Looking forward to watching every single post of DIY Craft!!!!
Thank you so much for this pattern. I drafted one as the instructions were very easy to follow. So many people have problems breathing that this one should help them & keep them safe. Following your channel & I hope you both get tons of followers to help build your channel. Hugs.
Really nice mask. I don’t insert my nose piece until I sew the little channel, and leave it open at one end, so much easier to put it inside after the channel is sewn. I will try leaving a little opening on mine in the bottom in case a person wants to insert a filter inside. Looks good guys. Very nice work.
Thank you for your many videos showing different face masks. I have made quite a number of them. Lovely to see you both and your gorgeous cat. Kindest regards.
Thank you very much for this tutorial and free pattern. Finally, I have been able to make masks for my friend that she can wear comfortably. Your cat is beautiful ♥♥♥
Thank you very much, i've been making masks for relatives but i noticed my sister kept buying disposable once so she told me she was having trouble breathing in my homemade ones, hopefully this one will work otherwise i dont know what kind of nose & mouth she have hahahaha All the best & keep safe!
