I have a black 02 XCSP and it hauls ass. Just need a little more track cuz the 121" life gets me in trouble when I play with the boys on the big hills. Sweet ride dude, love the Edge chassis era. Still able to work on the sleds and also able to just relax on the big couch seat lmao
That’s awesome man! I don’t mind the 121 I trail ride now and I’m doing some suspension work right now. I’m filling up the Fox gas shock, sliders, and a couple of springs for the shock and I have a noise in my clutch. Going to get that checked out too
So far I love it. Nothing had happened yet. I know I herd people talking about the motors not being the best for the 800. But I mean if you do your maintenance to it I’m sure it’ll be fine. And that’s a great price for one!! I got my sled for the same man!!
Crank runout is the big issue on these. I have one, its an 02 blue Edge X 800. Awesome machine and a superior suspension setup to the Gen2, especially in the front. Crank runout is tough to test if you don't have the right guage and some prior knowledge of how to do it. These motors can be really good if taken care of properly.
@@liamsmotovideos6767 the bottom half is overbuilt on the 600s.thet run a long time for sure.800 big blocks can be good to.theres a few upgrades that can be done as the wide bearing kit on the crank , and i think updated valve gillotines made of a different alloy.at any rate, those red / yellow edge xs are the shit.probably the best looking scheme polaris ever made.

I also have a black and red 2003 xcsp 800 im changing it to a 136 after the season but she absolutely rips on the trail..also love the m10 suspension
Must have the limiter straps cut out of it. Full travel makes these wheelie like crazy super easy

I put a seat from "Seat Concepts" on my 05 switchback. Night and day difference!
