While your dioramas are not the realisticst ones, they are just beautifull to look at. Besides that the videos are sooo relaxing to watch. Keep up the great work
YAAAAAY new vid from my favourite modelling guy yay! I can’t watch the video at the moment cos I’m going surfing but watch it later and I’m sure it will be epic!!!!!!! Keep up the amazing work mate✌️
Ha! Tom bombadil is back. Awesome work on this one buddy! Thought this would be a video for your patreons only but apparently it wasn’t! And again amazing.
Your application, technique and clear explanations are superb, as is your modelling. Fabulous stuff there kiddo. Loved the the little chubby bloke insert at the end!
Inspiring water effects, vegetation and ground...Thanks for sharing, I just started work with cork for my miniatures, and I will be inspired by this masterpiece!!!👍👍
this is an ace dio :) really like all the vids you do im not really a diorama builder as I work in 1/6 scale (model horses ) so it would be pretty big XD
Hello, first I would like to say I love your work, you've been a great inspiration for me, as I have begun to build dioramas. Second I would like to ask for your advice. I recently have been working on a winter esk water diorama. I mixed what I thought was a Icy looking blue mixture into the resin anddddd Now it looks green LOL. Has something like this happened to you? If so is there anything to be done? My only thought was to pour another thin layer of resin with a much darker blue pigment to hide it. Well thank you and can't wait to see the next video.
Thank you for your kind words. I suppose it would depend on the pigment material and the resin. I've never had a problem like this. For an icy look I would tend just to use a pure blue with a little white. An icy blue pigment may contain an element of yellow, I guess - not sure. I use glass paints in epoxy.
So amazing looks so real be great of you can do model packs for starters with video training to go with it , you could even make it a subscription offer only saying as I would love to learn but have not clue of what to buy so if you offered a model in a box with videos instructions then I’m sure learners like me would buy 😃 outstanding work
I actually did make kits a while ago, but the effort was considerable and the time it took to put them together made it less enjoyable, sadly. Thank you for your thoughtful comments 🙂
I don't understand how your dioramas don't get more views and likes!
Your dioramas are absolutely amazing and your voice is so calming.
Please do a beaver dam and pond! Your work is beautiful and your videos often rival Bob Ross at his best.
Nicely done Merric. Love these little dios and the ferns and foliage around the tree base turned out so good.🙂
Thanks Neil. I have to say I prefer making smaller scale stuff - if only because I lack the space in my room!

Watchu talkin about!!! I think they're crazy realistic my man!
@@RealTerrainHobbies of course they're realistic but the terrain is more fantasy like compared to real landscapes which isnt bad at all

Have you tried putting a layer of vaseline or some other release agent on the dams to avoid that capillary lip on the resin?
Yes, but it tends to reduce the mirror-like edge of the resin which requires a lot of polishing to correct...
Hey dol, merry dol!

Ah Tom, the only good wizard in my book.
Do you find misting with iso to be as effective as use of a torch for eliminating resin bubbles? Thanks!
What is the name of the small dermal like drill thank you
It's an engraving tool. Only a cheap one.
@@HighEyeWorkshop thanks I liked it because it's red
