BEAMSSTARLET Thanks. With the preparation time available and the new engine/gearbox/electronics in the car surprised how well it all went. Mt Washington this year was way easier.
wow! i would not have thought about that much. That is almost half the power. Is there a way to go around this? It may sound stupid, but if you could find a way to feed oxygen in the mixture, with todays advanced electronics, just a marginal amount to lets say "pump it up" the levels. Maybe you could have a testmule to do so in high altitude conditions. I am interested in what you may develope even more. It would be a great fun challenge to explore the limits of the piston driven engine. As i see, you have done great work sofar on a 1600cc 4 cyl. Engine. I think it will be possible to achieve 170 hp/ltr. Piston speed has its limits. 26mtr/sec. ? 11.000 rpm is huge already. Please do update your work, i like to know more. Thank's!
Turbocharging, nitrous.. there’s possibilities, but I wanted to see what 1.6l normally aspirated can do on this high altitude. Car is built for 1600cc FIA-E1 class in European hillclimbs. Pikes Peak would need a purpose built car.
Best sounding car of the entire race. Loved hearing it come screaming up the mountain.
That sound is music to my ears 👂
Thanks, we like it too! 😊
i used to have kp61 round eye. thank you for keeping it in fantastic

All of it.
I want to see the MPH while this is all going on.
Man that thing sounds mean..that 4age is sreaming almost sounds like a 20b at 9-10k rpm
This is mad but not as mad as the IOM TT 😜
any significant powerloss from 730-615mbar?
Guido Rollard yes at the top -45% compared to sea level. Felt like it was broken.. 😂

sorry my mistake
Guido Rollard ?
vvt-i and not vvt-i ?
RavenK19 this is 4age 16v 1600cc so no vvt-i.
there is a lift, a sharp cam ?
and what exhaust? Custom or titanium?
Yes very aggressive cam profiles and other modifications on this engine.
and would not it be possible to achieve a better result thanks to the vvt- engine edits?
