Notes:
✔️ The dark makeup worn during some interviews in this video was never an image the band portrayed during live shows and touring. This was due to the fact the band was in between shots & scene set up for "My Own Summer (Shove It)" music video.
✔️ After almost 20 years since the creation 'Around The Fur EPK' video now is available in good quality, director's cut version. There was only available for years short-5 minutes version of 'Around The Fur EPK' released on VHS (in low quality).

It's crazy how fast time flies!
I mean, at the time of the album's release, Chino and Abe were both only 24 years old, while Stephen and Chi were 27.
They were really young yet so ahead of their time as a band.
It's with this record that they found their musical identity IMO. Their first record was a solid debut album, but it lacked the sonic experimentation that they started incorporating with this one, a very distinctive trait of theirs that makes them the band that we all love to this day.
Ah man, the nostalgia of the 90's was so weird, static, old, and uplifting, I feel euphoric thinking about those times :,(

A story that I can confirm is that Robert Smith (lead singer of The Cure) was in an adjacent SIR Rehearsal Space/Room & was introduced to the guys prior to them performing. Robert Smith, (The Cure), a musical influence of Chino's which he has mentioned by name over the years, decided to hang out & watch the live show Deftones rocked out that evening. rb
