I’m going to give it a like, even though I can’t watch it right now because my time is extremely "compressed". I’ll watch it later; I know it’s going to be a good review.
@@spinlightstudios I think I'll go for the golden 58; I'm trying it out, and to be honest, it was the only one that caught my attention. muchas gracias hermano!
Mate, I tried the Golden 58 preamp and its honestly one of the best preamp plugins I've tried. I will check out their STA comp and compare with Klanghelm's
Thanks man! Yeah if you dig back through my videos I have a few drum mixing videos. I have a few mixing course on my website too - both cover drum mixing within those styles etc.
Cool demo. Great job as always. Love the singer. I have a bunch of Kiive plugins that I bought after watching your demos. TBH, I'm not in love with this plugin. The saturation is underwhelming. The lack of control over the reverb is a mystery. Why - in a world of options - would 'less-options' be a feature? No reflection on you, Rhys ...or Kiive really. Love their Complexx, Distinct Pro, NFuse. Gonna pass on this one and save my $ for an SSL Bus+ (see what I did there?).
Totally fair! Save those dollars and get that SSL! I love mine! I agree the reverb length is a mystery, although it does sound nice, it is a little unusual not to be able to control the decay. I personally enjoy the sound of the golden 58 :) and the vintage mode of the vcomp is pretty nice! I used to own a retro double wide, it was a finicky compressor to dial in! I think I prefer the vcomp plugin!
love how u explain stuff and simplicity in ur videos no extra bs or misguided info to make mixing overcomplic
Thanks heaps mate! No point over complicating things that don’t need to be!

Haha no worries mate!

Awesome video! Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the STL Control Hub. Cheers!
Control hub is pretty cool, I did some videos on it maybe a year ago if you want to dig back through!
These all sounds really great and tasteful, I'll absolutely have to give them a go!
Yeah they are very nice! Kiive always delivering the goods!

Yeah I really dig that golden 58! And the vintage vcomp is verrry nice
Hey bro, as always amazing your videos! Do you have mixing lessons? specially for drum content.. Many thanks

@@spinlightstudios Thanks! Was checking them and found really interesting the pop one! Already got from you the sample pack trigger 2
If I wear gloves while I mix, will my mixes sound better?
100% 😂 it’s cold here 😂
I'd love to hear these plugs on R&B, Hip Hop or Pop sound sources. I guess these plugins are not made for those Genres huh?
They would totally work with any genre - I just don’t have a lot hip hop material to showcase with!
