Hey Gary, thanks for sharing buddy. Its awesome to watch guys like you and @demons_rides travel from Ireland and the UK to ride here in the Americas. Truly motivating to watch you guys have real adventures. You rolled through that traffic like it was natural...LOL, can't lane split in North Carolina, US...i've done it a few times when I was in Okinawa, Japan..still freaks me out being unsure of what some vehicle drivers are going to do when you least expect it. Cool to see the French seemed far more intune and respectable towards motorcycles. Been watching your vids and enjoying what you're sharing. Wishing you all the best and will continue to enjoy your journey. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels.

Hi Gary, sunshine and warmth. Great result. You are in good hands with the Garmin. ( bit of a bummer about the extra map cost )
I’ve done 30,000 touring miles with mine and it’s been brilliant and bulletproof 😁

Good luck Gary. Enjoying your videos. I’d love to know more about how your bike and gear is performing. Seriously thinking about swapping my Norden for the Kove

It still amazes me how quickly we can travel the world, one minute UK next South America. Can’t even imagine attempting to navigate Buenos Aires without a satnav to get back to your apartment. Cheeky move by Garmin too, they’ll always find a way of extracting more from you somehow. Hope you’ve got a decent airflow jacket in all your gear somewhere Gary, sounds like you need it! Hope you take to learning Spanish quickly and that when rested up you’ll then be ready for the open road.👍

Looking forward to every episode now 👍🏻 looks lovely and warm there, just back from a 5 degrees C short ride out (Cumbria) 🥶 I’m sure that Spanish will come along quickly.

Well done! Is the bike feeling a bit heavy in that traffic? Kove 450 may have been a better option for that, but I think for the long stretches the 800 should be a lot more comfortable. I am really enjoying your videos. Safe travels!

It's nice to see you safe in South America. That apartment looks like a nice one. Is it an Airbnb? Stay safe.

Can you tell us a little about the legal stuff? How long can you stay, how long can the bike stay? What about motor insurance, how did that work? Are you in an AirBnB or are you permitted to outright rent an apartment?

If your cooking in armour you should have gone with Knox mesh armour shirt and layering system. That would have suited more the changes in climate your going to go through

SO, well that was quite stressful wasn't it ? I don't do a lot of filtering and when I do it is a LOT more "careful" then that. So I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time clinching my hand on the handrails of the seat so hard that I couldn't let go to grab the mouse and stop the video :)
I exaggerate a little, BUT you are looking rather comfortable with the whole filtering thing in a strange new land, good on you.

(PS: CC wasn't available on this vid for some reason and that's a problem since I can't understand your Irish accent all that well. Hopefully be back on the next vid)

Given that you are going to spend a long time in Hispanic America, I encourage you to learn as much Spanish as you can. Any investment of time an effort that you make now will really pay in the following months.
Besides, once you learn the basics you'll discover that it is quite a logical and beautiful language. Good luck!
