Very good saw, I bought mine last year when my old Stihl 029 saw that I had bought new 30 yrs. ago was acting up. I needed a functioning saw right away because a big tree came down in my yard during a wind storm on top of my pool. The man in this video is right.... this saw is all any homeowner will ever need. But one thing I've learned over my 30 odd years of cutting firewood is..... keep your saw properly maintained as the man said....and keep your chain sharp. You can have the best, most powerful chainsaw out there, but it won't mean a hill of beans if you are using a dull chain. You can buy special sharpening files on-line that are made by Stihl that are easy to use and work amazingly well for their saws.
Great to see that you’re making more lawn equipment videos. I recently purchased a stihl BR 700 backpack blower since my company is taking on larger accounts. Hope your landscaping company is doing well. Please continue the stihl videos 👍💪
It's choke on. Max 3 pulls if the saw doesn't burp. Then choke off, pulls till it starts. More than 3 pulls with the choke on risks fuel flooding. I do this with my Ms382 and Ms250. Works every time.
They are fine saws, why would a home owner spend money on a pro saw?. I have a 291 and an ms661, but the 291 has worked hard and no problems doing pulp or firewood.

That’s a nice blower.
I believe I know why the chain was falling off of that Husqvarna... @3:08... ;o)
People always rip on the 291 but mine rips and I cut some big oak and maple with it and it runs like a dream
Who rips on the 291
Do you still make them
Was this before you ran for Pennsylvania senator?
Who knew a chainsaw video could be hilarious!
Just bought this saw today and having trouble starting it. It smells like it’s flooded but not sure what’s going on

Did you look at getting the MS261?
No, good unit though! 👊👊
@@DiscoveringHisWay But, I don't believe the 261 is made in the USA.
Just bought the same saw today
Awesome!! Congratulations
I was working today with mine 291.Starts easy cuts fast
Awesome video
3:09 .. bahhaha his chain is hanging loose there .. obviously he stretches it with his amateur cutting 😂

ahh the sweet delight of a chainsaw while you sleep. ZZZ night night
He can’t fix a chain tensioner 😂
MS291 is underpowered turd. Husqvarna and Stihl are both good if you buy a PRO Series saw.
It has more than enough power, if you’re not shredding timber with a MS291 you’re doing it wrong
Naw ive been using one for a few years. Main thing is keep that chain sharpened after every sawing operation
