He was the beginning of Lovers Rock, was there for every reggae transformation/style through the 70's, 80s and until his death. He put out his first album in 1975 and kept mashing them out 1 or 2 a year for the next 35 years. Rat cut a bottle came out, I think, in 1981, when Isaacs was a huge star worldwide...and if you think he just used machines for his music, Sly and Robbie gonna set you straight...
