A very nicely scripted scientific report. Good information , very instructive and educative. Congrats.
I had visited the BRS site 3 weeks back ! The Rock paintings need more protection, and should also be saved from erosion from elements. Glass enclosure is the need of the hour. An Archeaological Interpretation centre at the site is much needed. Thanks

2:43 madam, can you not mention Horses? When you say this paining is 6000-8000 years old and depicts horses then it clearly tells that Warriors in India have been using horses for battles.
Debunking the horse theory which some historians use to validate Aryan Invation/Migration Theory

In so many ways this makes sense. The Indian sub continent fits like a jigsaw between the conjunction of West Africa and East South American coast. Hence the similarity of similar megafauna in this regions like elephants, rhinos, leopards, lions as well other animals like honey badgers. The continued extension of these similar facets is evident also with several insect and reptile species in the Western Ghats to Ivory Coast, Gabon as well as French Guinea and Brazil. These are more recent evolutions, so the fact that the same species of Dickinsonia would be spread across geographical locations not seperated is not surprising.
That with sheer volume of population in the sub continent through its history due to its fertility, that something that is 635 million years old remains untouched is in itself is a fantastic feat of survival.

I hate the idea that ancient Indian civilization is represented by Indus valley civilization while rest of subcontinent is discarded from discussion. Indus wasn't even the major river, instead it was Saraswati. The fact that Indus valley civilization is part of discussion because we found the sites of the cities and we found them because no body lived there after that. It doesn't mean that rest of the green arable land would be vacant for nobody to live. People continued to live here, so you won't find old remains. Probably Bhimbetka caves are even older than IVC. Also, AIT is complete crap.

Indian peninsula can be a cradle of many more such discoveries given its geographical position in the past and the journey that it has seen through millions of years. This is one of the examples of the rich diversity that we may have and i strongly feel that we have just scratched the surface.
