This is awesome! We have a 2007 Ford focus that got chewed by mice on top and it's all four of the ignition coil connectors. Do you recommend fixing it the same way?

Hi there, thanks for watching the video. It’s a same procedure to fix that wiring too, but you need to make sure that wires are soldered to the correct side of the wiring.

Hi. What exactly do you call these connectors. My ignition coil connector wire got damaged while replacing the spark plugs. Should I use a new connector and patch the wires with a heat sink connector?

I bought a car with those plastic connectors broken. The pins were directly connected to the coil packs.
My question is ...can this cause a short circuit to the ecm and essentially throw an ignotion code and cuase misfires ?

Hi my friend. If pins are exposed to the body yes they can cause a short circuit and misfire.

Any issues on wiring or connector may cause problems intermittent fault.
