The Adventure Force Jurassic Pro is the latest in the, "pro" line of powerful and accurate foam-dart blasters that absolutely just dunks on practically anything NERF puts out. Being a tie-in to Jurassic World Dominion, this blaster recreates the Tranquilizer Dart Gun as a fun foam dart bolt action sniper. NERF Makes Dinosaur blasters, but Adventure Force is out here hunting them!

This blaster looks so good I really hope they make more sniper / carbine type blasters!
What i really like is that this isn't just a lazy reskin, it's based on a prop, has damn good range for being one (since it's in the pro line), feels "in character", since i could definitely see a tranquilizer gun in the universe looking like this (amber mosquito stock not withstanding), and while it does have the premium price tag of 65, you'd know damn well nerf would've made this 85 dollars, or more, with less effort put into it.
Prophet pigfish....now it's a stryfe X pro half dart for 120 bucks.
The fact that a high performance blaster has licensed IP attributes on it makes me so happy

I love how this looks (and seems like works). Bolt action, mockup tranq gun. Painted, could be well used for LARP. Overall, seems awesome.
This gives me a lot of hope for maybe a Pro series lever action. >_
As popular as that idea is, it's hard to believe it hasn't been done yet...
I personally have only bought like 2-3 blasters over the past 2 years or so but I know I would be first in line to buy a pro-level lever action
@@vexidoodle6265 Same! I don't spend on blasters that often but I am always on the hunt for something fun to shoot, and lever-action just fits the bill perfectly. I know there are mod kits for the Saturn and the Takedown, but they're just so expensive. @_@ I go to thrift-stores every couple weeks in hopes of maybe one day stumbling across a Sentinel.
@@ZeraTheRedRogue Dude the sentinel has been on my list for such a long time. Like I got a whiteout Longstrike before finding a damn sentinel. I was on OfferUp one day and I thought I found one but it was just one those other ones that uses the shell ejecting ammo. One day we’ll find one lmao
I'm going to predict that Dart Zone will make a shotgun. And I mean, Dart Zone Blaster that uses shells that hold 3 darts in one shell, has a mag tube, and works like an actual shotgun. THis will probably never exist, but i can dream, right?
This, paired with the X Shot dino hunting blasters, along with an Australian bushranger outfit, definitely fits.

The painted design is an amber effect. Took me a bit to figure it out....dont push the "mando" fork on too far it will latch. Unless you want to keep it on.

And I was wondering when the Pro line would get a bolt action blaster.
Although, I was hoping for a more Garand or Remington- esque set up with the bolt itslef, further back and closer to the trigger for easier use.

you might want to review how you're resting the blaster on your rifle stand, because it looks like the barrel bends upwards quite significantly when you do.

For the prime, I wonder if it's much more stable if you're priming with your off hand rather than taking your hand off the grip? That would give another point of stabilization and may keep it from bending. That'd be my personal preference at least. I also wonder if that long faux barrel it comes with hinders performance at all? I can't imagine it makes a huge difference, and it looks much better with it, but it might help out a few of the accuracy hiccups.
To me, it doesn't really matter as much since with the bolt handle placed so far forward you're forced to take the blaster off your shoulder (or point it up and taking it off target) to cycle anyway.
Think of Mosin-Nagant pattern rifles, which force the user to disengage off the stock to cycle. In which case, stability in the front would be more beneficial in pulling the prime back, as opposed to pushing the prime into your firing hand with awkward placement.

I've seen that just extending the metal barrel inside improves performance way more than it probably should
If not for the wobbly/jank stock I would be more sold personally. I think the bolt action is amazing, and it's something that needs to continue in springers in the hobby. If I can get a bolt action on a nexus or a stryker, that would be awesome.

Drac was getting readings upwards of 130 FPS with half lengths, sooo...I'd say it kinda is.
He speculated that it's not hitting 150+ like the Nexus because the barrel's shorter.

My only gripe is that they didn't put a rifle scope on it. I mean, the Kobra sight is awesome, but it pains me that there isn't something like an ACOG sight. That's really my only complaint though.
This may be one of the most accurate blasters out there .... I guess life found a way..

Really digging your test setup. Thanks for using fresh darts. If it becomes too much of a burden I hope you feel comfortable enough to ease up on that.
If you could borrow one of those other types of chronographs where you shoot over the thing, could you do fps and accuracy simultaneously? Save on darts and correlate the accuracy to fps maybe?
It's actually a peephole sight. You need slide the front attachment back and forth to adjust for distance to the target.
Even though I've owned a Stryker for a while and shredded numerous pieces of paper with it, I'm still blown away by how tight the grouping of the half lengths is in that test footage.

I noticed the faux barrel was bending while it was on the rest during testing. I wonder if that affected the accuracy much by darts possibly hitting the bottom of the barrel before exiting?
I'd love to see dart guns and melee toys that look like mass effect weapons.

Number 1 thing I’d like to see form the dart zone pro / adventure pro lines are attachments, sights, barrels & stocks for customization. Kind of like what the modulus line did.

You can actually see the barrel bending when he rests on the rest. Doesn't help the grouping I suppose.
Edit: really needs a different stock. Would love a thumbhole stock. And a sniper barrel that is more stable, has a scar and a stabilizer(for the looks) at the end.

I picked up one at my local Walmart a few months back in clearance for a whopping $17 US!

-shotgun SPAS-12 rifle with folding stock from Jurassic Park : with the same functions of inserting and ejecting cartridges;
-Double barrel rifle from The Lost World Jurassic Park : with the same functions of opening, introduction and ejection of cartridges.

where do you find all those adventure force blasters?
I live in canada and only have the spectrum as the best adventure force product and cannot find any pro blasters anywhere
I'm not sure if things have changed since last year but I think its only Walmart for us when it comes to Adventure Force. Canadian Tire and TRU might stock them in some areas, though they seem to lean hard into Nerf and Zuru. As for Walmart it depends entirely on the store manager if its in stock or not. In my province a lot of stores carry the Aeon, but not the Nexus. The good news however is that both are sold and in stock on Walmart CA. Hell, apparently they have repaints of them now... kinda regretting camping for a month trying to get the Nexus last summer since the new purple, teal, pink and orange one looks so oddly awesome.
As for this blaster since its a movie branded one its fairly likely to show up in brick and mortar stores and damn likely to pop up on their site.
Ended up buying 2 of these on clearance for like 20$ one for my nephew (I shortened the spring to make it a Lil more child friendly) and of course one for my man child self and I absolutely love it. Waiting on a brass barrel to show and then some baby talon mags I found for the true prone experience love the content dude you're whats gotten me to look more into the hobby now just gotta find a place to play
What I like most about this dart gun is that you can also make it a sawed-off rifle pistol without modifying it.
i like these imitiation blasters. to be honest soldier 76 was my favorite after i modded it to take a lithum battery. the lights and movement really get me going to the point i added a tri laser system to turn on when i rev the rifle. they should do more like that. nerf can just make the shells and i just rewire them.

Finally a gun that actually sound and works well that it's regular speed is over 60 fps it's really good

Friend of mine had a similar problem with his old Recon CS-6 back in the day, in regards to the entire Blaster bending due to the flimsy shoulder stock. His solution? Basically 3D printing a shoulder stock reinforcement so it's strong as can be.
Its not a tiny rail, it's perfect size and has a great personality
Hey Walcom! Great review! Definitely has me pumped for more pro blaster crossovers. One minor problem I saw with your target shooting is that when you placed the blaster on the rest, you were bending the barrel upwards slightly since the connection between the barrel and blaster isn’t one solid piece. You potentially gave yourself a misleading accuracy result! Still though. Keep up the good work!
I think some of those outliers were from the barrel rest your using. I notice as you were pulling it down to anchor the barrel in the rest the barrel was bending upward. I would take that long barrel off and test again.
The flexing of the barrel might have been the accuracy problem

you can see the barrel bending when you rest it on the bench rest. you should rest it on the frame of the blaster instead of the barrel. probably affected your accuracy tests.

Can't Nerf just re release old n-force guns with more powerful springs, brand new paint job and much more powerful electric motors? Or even re release the N-Force melee weapons in their original color? We are just getting new guns with the same functions, average performance, and piles upon piles of excessive plastic. C'mon Nerf, go back to the old days and bring back the OG guns and melee weapons back. Honestly Nerf, you are terrible at your won game now with adventure force and their OP, high performance, dart guns.

Hear me out. A Pro-line “magnum” pistol from halo CE. Why? Dart zone has some powerful guns, and the magnum in halo CE is one of the most powerful guns in FPS multipliers ever. Why not? It’d be sick. Maybe add slide knock back, so we can do the animation of Master chief pulling it back, then letting it go when he pulls it out in the game.
I'm surprised this is only 15USD more than the Nexus considering the licensing, but I guess that's the power of Walmart's personal branding.
If dart zone collabed with halo and made respectable blasters I'd be very happy

Please excuse me if my question is inappropriate for this channel or post. I have a squirrel problem and I’d like to teach them that my bird feeder is not for them. I’d like to get a blaster that is extremely accurate at a range of 25 feet. Which ammunition is more accurate, Rival or darts? That will help me to decide what blaster to purchase. I’m fine with a blaster that only holds 6 pieces of ammunition and needs to be cocked every time before firing. I’d prefer something in the under $25 range. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

My friend, who is not even "into Nerf" is excited for this as he is a fan of Jurassic Park old movies and the new ones (even with the clone nonsense of the last one), and that series Camp Cretaceous. It took Dart Zone Max a year to get to us (it just got here this year back in January) so I didn't promise my friend if it would be available here anytime soon. Hopefully it would get here at least in time for the movie release.
I saw this on the shelf while picking up some airsoft bb's, little did i know, its better in every single way. Cheaper ammo, higher fps, hurts less, shouldve bought it
I broke the gun down as far as I could and painted the body and grey stock pieces green, the hand grip, trigger, orange stock, sights, box mag and charging handle black and the barrel silver. Left the tip orange for cosplay. The pickatinny rail under the barrel was part of the original prop too. I took the taser tip and repainted it silver and copper and used a piece of PVC pipe and the grip from a cheap Ball Blaster from 5 Below and made a taser gun
