People want more than anything to be seen, and yet they are terrified of being seen because they are afraid of what will be seen. And there is so much we want to hide, and yet we have hidden from ourselves that which is best in us.

It has been 2 days since my older brother has passed away. And overall I would try to figure out where his he now? what is the afterlife for him? when we got the news it was terrible. We listen to his music, I cried looking at his photos. however I kept presence with me. I wondered how could I connect with him. the next day I’m able to be here and meditate. Find comfort, acceptance with this feeling, watch my thoughts about him, my regrets, my memories towards him. My sadness about him. I’m able to see my older brother as more than these negative thoughts I have. And I learned that staying present is the best way to connect with him. Thank u❤️

I know what you are feeling...Be PRESENT is the only way to feel our loved ones, who with their true PRESENCE are more alive than ever. I hear them too and believe me they advise me what to do. You can listen to them if you are present. Their love for us is stronger than before you can feel it and listen to it. You must have faith in the force of life that is boundless...🙏

@jesusbermudez6775 Well I understand him and have listened to him for over 15 or more years, I have been very successful with what he has taught us. You have to have the right state of mind to ascend and he has helped me do that.

Ended just as he was being clearer about how we behave as Essence, rather than Circumstantial - w3 font try to push our opinions or become 'heated' when others disagree with our views, for example. Id like to know how to differentiate Essence thought from Ego/ Circumstantial when I see something nice I could own, in a shop, say. Is it important for the degree of our awakening, that we become aware of the motives behind our potential purchases, friendship, relationship or career choices & which category these emanate from - Essence or Ego?

These are videos from retreats (some many years ago, like this video). During covid he did some real live-stream videos. Those may have been to his "members" (or "virutal retreats" people paid for) and posted to youtube later.

I try to live in the present and feel the deep presence of being in the now! I fail and falter more often than not! The silent power eludes me. My brother who has a mental disability compounded by alcohol abuse tests the resilience of my very being everyday! Though he lives many miles away his constantly on the phone with some problem or other that he needs me to fix. It's impossible to speak to him in a logical or rational way as he at 48 has the mental capacity of a 10yr old which leaves me frustrated, stressed and saddened! Occasionally I get angry with him! And afterwards even more exasperated and guilt ridden. How is it conceivable that he would ever know the essence of who he really is apart from the mind body experience! And how could he ever know he is the consciousness of his mental disability plus addictive behaviour! I try so hard to be with him in the beauty of presence but we both get lost in the ugliness of our so called life's! 👉🙏

"Essential I" is spaciousness, presence. It has no will, no desires. Then, where does creativity come from? And what is the point of creativity then? There are no needs, no problems to solve for the "Deeper I". And then my spaciousness is not any different from somebody else's spaciousness. Then what is the point of this endless repetition of the same essence?
I find it helpful to only take what resonates from these talks/meditations.
You're just a universe experiencing itself
You cannot find fulfillment in the world of form, nor you need one, you just are
The "same essence" is not an object. .. is space,contain all the wonder of existence. No need for any "point"

@linda I've read that Eckhart charges $1000-$5000 for a retreat (which these videos come from). In that sense, we should be grateful to get these for free. (I could say more, but I try to honor the sensibilities of those I'm among.).
Do you watch anyone else? If not, it might be good to expose yourself to more. I like Mooji, Sam Harris (and Dan Harris, no relation). Joseph Goldstein. Lately I've been liking Stephen Batchelor's "secular buddhism."

With all those riddles to realise the essential "I" you are doomed from the start from knowing what the essential is because essential does mean "extremely important". Here we have two " I's" and both are circumstantial, circumstantial meaning "not conclusively proving it. Remembering nothing is real according to the teacher so God can't be either.
Its obvious this teacher doesn't have a clue where the real " I" exists, a real " I" that is not burdened with impermanence. Proof of the real " I" at work is the reproduction system to form the intelligent species. Not fleeting nor an illusion. The fusing of elements formulae is the iteration function unto itself that has formed to form the intelligent species will always do just that , form the intelligent species with the spark of/for life, the iteration function is the emanation.
