Thai Lemongrass Mojito | Jamie's Crazy Cocktail Challenge

- Dheeradon Dissara beat hundreds of entrants to win our global Search for a Cocktail Star competition, so we flew him from Thailand to London where Jamie set him a challenge to put Thai twists on classic cocktails. In a video featuring nods to some of our favourite movies - and Jamie as you've never seen him before - this is the Thai Lemongrass Mojito cocktail. Created in partnership with Bacardi.
Dheeradon's Thai Lemongrass Mojito is a twist on the classic Mojito cocktail - one of the most popular recipes on Drinks Tube. This Thai-inspired version uses white rum, lemongrass (bruised to release the flavour), sugar, coriander and mint leaves, then is topped up with crushed ice and ginger ale. All of these flavours combine to create a taste that's distinctly Thai. It's a Mojito, but not as you know it!

Good video, and nice Thai Lemongrass Mojito cocktail! I remember voting for Dheeradon Dissara when I saw his UA-cam video for the Search for a Cocktail Star competition. I'm glad he won. I'm also Thai American, and my parents are leaving for Thailand for two weeks starting tomorrow morning to visit relatives. It's nice to see Dheeradon. I like his personality! :-) I'll have to try out this drink recipe when I have some time. Thanks, and have a nice week! :-)
