I was in 3 severe accidents in July of 2017, yes, in ONE month! The 1st crash I swerved around a woman pedestrian and hit a tree going 70mph. I broke multiple bones, my thumb, 3 ribs, one rib went through my right lung. Then I was rear ended on 94 near French Road, and pushed into the center divider which flipped my car 3-4 times. No injuries besides some gnarly, absolutely massive bruises.The last one was on Harper, I slowed down for an accident that just happened at Masonic, when a guy rear ended us doin 45mph. That one broke my ankle and gave me severe whiplash and permanent nexk/vertebrae damage.
I didn't get behind the wheel again for over 6 months, partially bcuz all 3 of my cars were destroyed, there's more to me not drivinf, but thats a story for a different time. So i relied on one family member and occasionally a friend to drive me EVERYWHERE i needed ro go. Sitting around, waiting for someone to drive you somewhere and being reliant on other ppl will destroy your self reliance and can seriously damages your self esteem and your drive to be the best person you can be. It sounds very strange to say, but not "getting back up on the horse," can have serious detrimental consequences on your mental and emotional well being. So, please, do what you can to get your mom over to the dealership and into her new car (assuming her car was totaled. So glad they caught the prick) and back on the road again, for her own good 😁 Take care!
There is no way that anything hit that truck at 100 mph, that looks more like it was in the 30's tops. In any event glad to hear everyone is ok.

The police can be a little bit more creative when it comes to catching the suspect besides creating a high-speed chase. 10 out of 10 times they will speed away. Watch cheaters for some pointers on how to sneak up on someone. They seem to know how to catch ppl without high-speed chases.
Don't you worry he has done this before. Will continue to do so. Eye for an eye. It'll slow him down when he gets both his hands cut off. The message will be clear don't drive something you don't buy legally! Make an example out of him and everyone after him. Crime will go down where it belongs.

If they were really going 100 mph, that truck would’ve been all over the place.
The perp probably slammed the brakes at the last minute--but they didn't say he was doing 100mph at that moment--he was when the police discontinued the pursuit for safety reasons.
That big truck saved her life 🙏if she was in a small car I don’t think she would’ve made it😕

The cop discontinued the pursuit because the suspect was driving too fast--people always blame these on the cops, but these freaks get spotted because they are already driving like fools.
Thankfully she was in a full size pickup, her condition would be much worse if she wasn't. wishing her a quick recovery.
To anyone in a small car: please consider that you will have a far better advantage as a victim of a scenario like this in an SUV/ truck, its safer for you & your families.
You are so lucky to be alive. I recall a case similar to this that happened about three or four years ago up in Port Huron Michigan stolen car fleeing from police, reaching speed of 100 mph runs through a four-way intersection, red light crashing into a innocent bystanders vehicle Killing all occupants. People have no remorse for human life not even their own. This driver should be thrown in prison for the rest of his life. It’s by the grace of God. This lady is still alive just because he got lucky and she got lucky. Does it mean he should get off the hook he should still be charged with what could have happened.

Before you blame the Police--the chase was terminated when the perp reached 100mph on city streets--he chose not to slow, but maintained a high rate of speed ( though I doubt 100mph) afterwards. In my opinion these chases need to be close pursuit, so the lights and sirens can warn cross-traffic that a pursuit is underway. Out of the blue, with no warning, seems to be the result of political decisions, not Public Safety.
