The A.I.M. Scientist is a fiendish diabolical villain with MODOK both of extreme intelligence!!! For more information check out the comic books on these characters!!! Also for myself building a A.I.M. Troopers army!!! Your review was good I enjoyed it!!! 👍
Arcade is the man in my book, I'm a big comic book reader all the characters I'm familiar with in the comics 👉 more than action figures, but I do collect the action figures... Indeed 😊
Xemnu is the first BAF I have ever completed. Not because I especially wanted him, in fact I never heard of him before. It's just I ended up buying all the figures except Deathstrike and then saw Deathstrike on sale so I figured why not?
@@UnparalleledUniverse genuinely Deathstrike I had no interest in cuz I'm not overly familiar with her, but she surprised me in how inventive her articulation is. A ball jointed waist is not something I ever expected out of a Marvel Legend.
That Hood head sculpt has huge potential. Swap out the arms with some short sleeves from JJ or Ulysses Klaue and remove the jacket and repaint the top white and pants purple, then slap on some glasses for the head and presto you got a badass Bruce Banner to match with the Select Immortal Hulk.
@@UnparalleledUniverse Oh definitely, love Scooby Doo. Was thinking a retooled Doc Ock for Mole Man could lead to a reuse to make the purple jumpsuit Doc Ock aswell. Though each would have inaccuracies but least they'd be out there.
Great video, yeah I mean I think the Xenmu actually looks great in hand. I got him and I was pretty shocked honestly, nice looking, fun BAF figure overall.
"I don't think you'll like the hood, but you might like the hood ...outta the hood" *stares at the dual gun-weilding action* ...The Jr Assistant spitting facts!! 😂
The best thing about waking up, is unparalleled in your cup. Good work from the junior assistant. The alternate arcade head actually looked really good on the base hood bottom.
Dude I cherry pick legends waves too. So many incomplete BAFs lol. This one is very tempting and I'm already getting most. Hate that Hood though. Damn. Good review as always man. On to 40k!
Wade, the wave is great. Reuse tends to take the starch out of any figure. Though a Baf villian with all villains is remarkable. Villains of old(red skull) and new(hood). Even the weakest is customizer fodder or adaptable to various dioramas. All and all what comic/marvel legends fans have asked for:) relate don't hate.
When they do these type of waves, I appreciate that it's not all A-listers, this is how you can get access to B and C characters (although to be fair, Aim Scientist was featured in the Avengers cartoon a bit) But have to agree about The Hood, Bendis tried his damndest to make that character interesting, but the character was intentionally created (Jemas?) to be uninteresting on purpose. The point of the character was originally that just being given super powers isn't what makes you a super hero or villain. The character was intentionally created to be lame, and for some reason Bendis thought that was interesting. The rest of the wave is solid for me, I don't care one bit about Lady Deathstrike, in my opinion a nearly as lame character as The Hood. I have no attachment to the God Doom, but he's cool looking so there is that. Ultimately for me, mostly good figures, a bunch of characters I didn't have which is also a great selling point, a quality baf and a concept that I feel should be repeated at least every other year. Give us a line every other year that is comic based villains that the majority are of characters we don't have or haven't seen in a while with a good baf and I'm in. Here is hoping the next line features a couple of c- or d list villains with maybe a couple of A-listers to keep it interesting. I can easily come up with 5 lines featuring 7 characters and a baf, where nearly every villain is 1. a mostly new character or version that is more enough separate from what we've gotten that it would be considered a different character. 2. where the baf would be something that people would like to see 3. where the villains would represent at least 4 of the major lines (ff, spidey, avengers, mutants, mystic, cosmic, street level, other)
I completely agree, for me the must haves of this wave are Red Skull, Dormammu and Lady Deathstrike. Red Skull is just an iconic villain, Dormammu is another icon but has a even cooler design and Lady Deathstrike is just an awesome looking figure through and through in terms of detail work. I have MODOK and a few AIM soldiers so I may get the Scientist Supreme at some point and Arcade looks decent, but I know nothing about him so he's a skip for me. It sucks since these were set to release on Amazon on June 1st here in the UK but aside from Red Skull all my orders were cancelled, and even Red Skull was delayed and I have no idea when he'll arrive. Honestly I'm just glad this wave exists since most of my favorite figures in this line are the villains; MODOK, Kingpin, Kang, Doctor Doom, and Bullseye would all be on my top 10.
@@UnparalleledUniverse You'd be surprised how many people think like that, but I can only hope it was a joke. Thanks for the video, dig the Xenmue but don't want to buy half the fodder. That Red Skull is money.

Scientist Supreme is actually a character in Hickman’s F4 run, and is also a counterpart to the Sorcerer Supreme
That title has existed inside AIM even before that run, too.
In the mid-2000s, Monica Rappaccini was the Scientist Supreme in turn.
Xemnu is the first BAF I rushed out to buy on his own, just something about the sculpt gives me Space Invader vibes.
Its just Wendigo with a head

Nice! And DeathStrike might be the best figure of the wave haha

Xemnu looks like a Scooby Doo villain. I can see a retool of the Doc Ock body being used to make a Mole Man for a classic FF villain
Hahaha he totally looks like a Scooby villain! That's not a horrible thing though.
@@UnparalleledUniverse Oh definitely, love Scooby Doo. Was thinking a retooled Doc Ock for Mole Man could lead to a reuse to make the purple jumpsuit Doc Ock aswell. Though each would have inaccuracies but least they'd be out there.

Lady Deathstrike shoulda came in that wolverine 5pack
It could be but it would not be funny to buy the same figure if it is going to be the same
@@juanmauricioaristizabalari2013 nah they shoulda changed lady deathstrike to the wolverine box and moved mastermind to the villains wave.

Like a hood. He looks like a hood.

The kid in the he background is on the way to be a great reviewer lol she's/he's very objective and doesn't go with the flow. I love it
seems the hood is a big toy photography hit....the troll of hasbro was successful
Ill strait up buy that hood figure from you. Great video as always
Great job assistant 👍 the hood idea is a good one ,wade need 2 pay u more money 💵That’s OT
Nice 👍🏻 Love the Red Skull and Deathstrike and Dormmamu!
Senior assistant said exactly what i was thinking. Want the red hood but not with the red hood. Lol
Great video but Arcade was a Spider man villain at one point lol
The Hood kinda gives me Bruce Cambell vibes, but with the likeness of headsculpt from 2008.
A better Eddie brock venom would be greatly appreciated in this wave
Swap him in for the hood and this would be my perfect wave.
This is a must have wave and BAF!! Hey Unparalleled, you ever did Mr. Hyde? And I would have loved to have seen him up against Wendigo!

If you take super7s mumra soft cape and throw it on hood it's way better but really the hood Figure doesn't deserve mumra's cape lol

I wish Xemnu had a gut, like in the old school comics
Modok and the Supreme scientist are enemies. many have had the mantle of that character but the one based here is one that Modok turned against
I always thought the Hood wasn't that interesting of a character in comics too
I regret not getting most of these figs
When are they gonna give us a good classic dr. strange!!
It looks great but it looks more like a statue that happens to move a bit
Hiiiiii
Xemnu > Hulk
