Good looking bike, with Rival eTap and for solid price, but unfortunately not endurance. If you check the stack/reach ratio, only frame sizes XL(58) and XXL(61) could be classified as endurance frames. All other Scott Addict frame sizes have stack/reach ratio 1,5 or smaller, so could not be endurance bikes. Shame from Scott that buyers are misleading with their web marketing. Same story with Cube Agree 'endurance classification'. Scott Addicts frame is slightly less aggressive than Addict RC frame, but far away to be an endurance bike. Addict frame is in range with new (2020 and up) Cannondale Supersix Evo and Orbea Orca OMX, all around race bikes. We all know which road bikes have real endurance geometry: Trek Domane, Specialized Roubaix, Giant Defy, Cannondale Synapse....(.and all of them also have a lot of spacers 😃)
This is spot on. I own both a Cannondale Synapse size 56 and a Scott Addict 10 size large and the Scott, while I like it, has a crazy long reach and rally isn’t a true endurance bike.
I’m enjoying the bike so far ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
