- The Scott Addict has always been one of my favourite road bikes and for 2020 it had the most revolutionary overhaul in it's history featuring completely integrated cables, aerodynamic design meaning it is now as aero as the Scott Foil aero road bike alongside the fact it is now one of the lightest production disc brake road frames available.. Scott definitely don't mess around when it comes to creating insanely impressive bikes and the new Addict is no exception.
Featuring a full SRAM AXS RED eTap groupset alongside Zipp 303 NSW wheels and Pirelli P-Zero colour edition tyres, this is a true Dream Build road bike!

What i love from Dream Build is how the bike taken care of, and the sound quality 👌
i've seen many bike build in another vids, they dont put towel to cover seatpost while attached, not put enough grease on each thread, and not using torque wrench when tighten parts. This make me cry internally 😭

As someone who builds them on a regular basis, no, no you don't 99% of all modern disc road bikes with integrated cable routing are a pain. Tbh a lot of the designers who create these bikes clearly don't ride or do maintenance because there's a lot of stupid little things that are redundant and just make these more difficult to work. Don't even get me started on disc brakes. the number of frames and forks that I've had to RMA with various major brands because the mounting holes for calipers weren't flat enough and caused rotors to rub.

I love the slow deliberate calm and attention to all the details here that you just don't see on other build channels. I watched a Madone being built elsewhere and honestly, it looked like it was being done by a kid at Halfords for all the care that was going into it.
Seems like a fun job to me. Reminds me of my childhood where I used to take everything apart and re-assemble them again.
these videos remind me of a mtb movie (i think it was “seasons”?) where the mechanic tears down the bike after a full season and then rebuilds it. these dream build videos bring back that vibe several times over, and showcase some awesome tech in the various bike worlds. i love it. thank you for making these!

Not a road bike guy at all, but I'd be lying If I said this isn't a stunning bike. Those carbon wheels with the Pirellis and that stunning frame, excellent build.

Wouldn’t it be a lot easier to adjust the brakes once they are bled? Bleed the brakes, pull on the lever with the wheel installed and the caliper loose, tighten the caliper down and it should be perfect

I don't even want to guess, what a bike build like this one will cost? Unfortunately, a lot of these are out of reach in life for me at the moment, and a dream bike like this one, is one of them.

Which is your preferred hydraulic system for road in terms of ease of build and maintenance?
Just a tip for you all: Don't grease up all of the threads on your bike! The grease helps the screws to get loose quicklier while driving even by having the right torque.
Be save!
If you don’t grease it it will get stuck and won’t be able to get them out
What spray are you using at the end there and does it not result in very squeally brakes???
