I’m a grower at a 43 acre hydroponic greenhouse and we have 30 acres of peppers.
We grow only mainstem and 1st node peppers, anything on the 2nd node off the mainstem is pruned off, also with pruning on the 2nd or 3rd leaf off the mainstem depending on time of year and heat
Also we just tie string to the crop wire, and twist and wind the head of the pepper plant to the string, no clips

I'm just conventional ground/raised bed growing them right now but want to see if I can get a few to live in my small greenhouse and even winter over. The fridge/snack peppers are wonderful to grow and quite a few never make it to the house 😁 Thanks for the video.

Those peppers look so good! I have peeped in the ground, in a self watering bucket (trying for the first time), and in a Kratky tote. The Kratky pepper plant is by far the best. Dark green foliage and very large peppers. Next summer going to put fewer in the ground and set up more Kratky totes. Thanks again!

Thanks for the awesome video!!! I am currently growing the same varieties you are in our hydroponic greenhouse. They’re about 2 months old right now. Roughly 500 plans of sprinter, brocanto, and milena . Can you do a video of how you prune and the nutrients levels ? Currently I keep mine the same as my hydroponic tomatoes. I also add calmag to help with healthy fruit set when they come in!

This year my peppers are looking amazing and really big, however my tomatoes not so much.
