Upon re-watch This has such a great Hitchcock feel, and you can really feel that anxiety and paranoia in the character, the shot of the stair way with the faceless men looking down is such a small moment, but man do i love it.
Very nice! You really capture the paranoia with subtle but perfect character animation, and the whole thing feels straight out of an old silent film. Excellent work!
Flawless! The visuals are incredible, but wow the sound design here is ridiculously good! Top-tier perspective and angles (especially at 0:50 and 1:23) that really make for interesting storytelling. Always love seeing what you make in these contests!
The story, the setting, the black and white, all the way down to how it was shot and scored gave me that same feeling as watching an episode of The Twilight Zone, or even Alfred Hitchcock Presents. This was really well done, especially for a BRAWL film. I enjoyed every second of it!
The sense of atmosphere is amazing and loved the choice of no dialogue. Your shot composition and framing was so well done that the story was easy to follow without getting too complicated. I adore this! And I love me a sad ending hehe:) Great job!!!
Wow, what a masterpiece you've crafted in under a week. The animation is absolutely stunning, the music is on point, and the loss of colors gives a lot of personality to the character! Good luck!
This animation is so smooth, not even a moment of jitter. And the story feels a bit like something from Hitchcock; just this overwhelming sense of something you have no control over because fear has taken root.
Thank you! And the roads are built with 1-stud-wide bricks, and then I laid those on their side. So I basically built a big L-shaped wall and laid it down to get the smooth look, since I don't have enough gray tiles.

The makings of a Hitchcock silent film. Wonderful work, so happy that the contest inspired this film. Perfect use of score, as well!

This might be my favorite entry. The music choice really heightens the sense of unease. Great job!
Great job. I love the atmosphere and the tension that the music creates. Congratulations.
This has such an effective, Hitchcockian vibe to it, paired with beautiful, subtle animation. Kudos to you!
WOW just incredible! I love the cinematography and the sound design, but everything about this was just so well done!
This is absolutely incredible. You portrayed the woman's emotion so well. The cinematography and editing really sold the piece. Great work
The story telling is amazing! No words needed to express the fear that she was experiencing! Great job
It’s amazing the stuff people can make in under a week. Everything about this was great
This is one of my favourite entries!
amazing.
the legos look like they are actually alive and have emotion. No wonder why this got 3rd place. 10/10
I can actually feel the anxiety… and it’s legos! Awesome job!

WTF WHY WAS THAT SO GOOD?!

I really appreciate it, man! And ah sweet, that's exactly what I was going for!
incredible work!
ohhh this is so good!!! really great job!
This was excellent!
Awesome work ! 👍 I have one question - how did you build these roads?
Thank you! And the roads are built with 1-stud-wide bricks, and then I laid those on their side. So I basically built a big L-shaped wall and laid it down to get the smooth look, since I don't have enough gray tiles.
@@SullivanManning thanks for the answer!
My word that's well done, cinematography is on-point. Good luck with the contest!
