Re: the Ferrari vs Lambo sales - that’s total company sales, not just the F8. The F8 is shown because it was the best selling model that year - same for the Urus. In reality, sales of F8 likely to be no more than 3.5k
I am a loyal weekly listener, I know its Thursday because of your podcast, I try to watch them but I have listened on Spotify if I am doing a drive!! You guys are awesome I love the podcast! have a good Christmas and a good new year!
I must admit i haven't tuned in for a while and rarely ever on youtube but i normally listen to the podcast on Spotify while at work and it makes the time pass so quickly and you give informative listening aswell as humour filled entertainment 👍
F8 seems to have sold very well, I've seen a lot of them in the UK more than almost every other ferrari model on the roads. but maybe more people are just willing to drive them over other models. Great content as always looking forward to more podcasts next year!
All the best guys, Council Estate, meets private education and as as a veteran, this proves getting on is a free choice we fight for and so glad to see it in action. :)
Thank you guys for some great listening this year I’ve looked forward to both this and the F1 chat every week. Can’t wait to received my travel mug order!
Can’t say I’ve missed a podcast this year! Cheers for a great year guys keeping us entertained week in week out! Have a great Christmas! Big things coming in the new year for BTG
Tony is right, the F8T was too similar to the 488, but it does look stunning, the 296 will definitely sell in big numbers. GT4 is king for me this year
I can imagine a hybrid with the autopilot thingy coming first. Pilots will say that they’re still required because those computers are only as good as the pilots that programme them. I’d love to see cars with autopilots to the extent where you can programme them to manage speeds, lanes, braking, cornering through a central control panel. Essentially an intensive version of what we already have with radar cruise/lane control etc.
I've been listening to the podcast since season 1 and it's been great the whole way through. The consistency was a little rough at first 😂 but we're past that now and it's truly one of my favorite podcasts and one of 3 I make an effort to listen to every week. Thanks for a great year guys
A great BTG season recap, thank you gentlemen, a much enjoyed automotive podcast! Perhaps you can go on your own 2022 "Snow Tour", take the UK ferry to Scandinavia :-)
Another great episode guys thanks for a great year 👍 was lieing in Florida last week listening now home to great British weather lol but listening to use helps roll on 22 thanks again great show👍👍
Totally agree with Tony re autonomous vehicles. I think a large part of the problem with driving and road safety these days is that people don't take it seriously - auto only drivers licences, driving "skills" are almost non-existent, and people seem to think that everything new must make their life "easier" or it's worthless. Driving [well] is a skill, and driving is not a right...
I have a suspicion there was more then coffee in those cups…. 56 weeks?? 🤣 I’m having a rum and egg nog watching this so cheers and Merry Christmas!! Both you two made a tough year better for me great job!
Sam, what Tony said is basic brand marketing for luxury products: you limit production to guarantee exclusivity. If Ferrari starts to build 15k/20k or more cars per years, its exclusivity diminishes, as does its brand value.
Sam, you had me at Nespresso pods! Well done!!! You two are my highlight of 2021 and Tony's interview of Sam was THE episode!. Thank you and cheers from Vancouver! Happy Christmas!!!
Now GTS's are no longer being sold. Purosangue production will be a regular production, (Approx 3k per year )they say they do not want a URUS production numbers . Dealers exception 5/6 cars per year. Staring from 270k
Another great episode. Was thinking, maybe for the end of next year now, you could do award categories for the year? Similar to how Marques Brownlee does for his smartphone awards each year
Tesla's have 500 miles of range and charge with superchargers really quickly. They have interior quality issues sure but they really do worth well as cars
I have been here, every week for about two years and listening to Tony say he wouldn’t mind an electric car shocked me more than a Tesla’s built quality ( ok, maybe not THAT much ). But hey, maybe he’s right, maybe is one of those rare occasions. Well done lads 🤘
I bet Tony rants about elevators the same as he does about cruise control. "Why not walk up 8 storeys? I wanna be in control and the elevator will not take that away from me, you knob! "
I climbed the stairs at a hospital once I was fixing a piece of equipment on the 8 th floor so had my tools with me " Take the stairs" my little brain told me " it will be good for you " What my brain didn't compute, was the fact a hospital has tall ceilings 😲, and 4 flights of stairs between floors.. I damn near needed oxygen myself on reaching the 8 th floor.
Not sure about Golf R estate, but from watching new Golf R journalist test, many of them had an estate version, so I assumed it is out for a long time now. Maybe just not on UK market.
Little fun fact... Most pilots soon after the take off,put the planes on autopilot till their next landing... and some, for testing purposes, on a decent clear day, also do landings on autopilot. How do i know that? My eldest brother is a pilot and following plane vloggers help with those infos as well...
Thank you for all your hard work.Dont know were those Ferrari figures came from but if you check autocrat for example the year to date total production was 8,600 units. So cannot understand 10k F8'S ??. Annual production will be excess 10k for this calendar year
They are way off on that stat. The stat is total production, not F8’s alone. Surprised these guys would misunderstand that so widely. Ferrari did not make 10,000 F8’s in one year and deliver other models too.
I have found that I can get single origin coffee capsules from Italy, along with milk capsules for my Dolce Gusto Machine, their taste is far better than what is generally available in the UK. There is a UK importer. If you release a Dolce Gusto compatible capsule, I'll give it a try.
I was really hoping to hit 50k so we could force Tony and Sam to get a Roma. When it was announced I didn’t like the looks or the purpose but it’s grown on me a lot
Hello old chap - I really love everything you do, followed you for years but please buy a gas burner and quickly heat the room up prior to recording. Merry Christmas to you and keep up the good work. JJ X
Sam, you cant use the Aircraft analogy in defense ofautonomous vehicles . Planes are thousands of feet and time apart....not running cheek by jowl with HGV's around the M25
Love the podcast. If I could make a recommendation I would say ditch the intro (you plug the show in the episode anyway) and if you have time make the episodes a little longer, sometime you get into the flow then cut the episode short. That said obviously do as you please. ✌️
You both eclipse Saint and Greavsie for me as the best duo presenters on ‘tv’ to date. Tony, you should be setting the legislation for UK driving standards as well as personally marking individuals on their driving tests - that would get rid of 50% of UK drivers. Solves congestion issues, drops CO2 emissions and removes ‘stupid’ drivers who shouldn’t be allowed near a steering wheel. 😉
Re: the Ferrari vs Lambo sales - that’s total company sales, not just the F8. The F8 is shown because it was the best selling model that year - same for the Urus. In reality, sales of F8 likely to be no more than 3.5k
“If you’re waiting for a new car… sit down” is my favourite Tony one liner ever.😂
Merry Christmas lads!
I am a loyal weekly listener, I know its Thursday because of your podcast, I try to watch them but I have listened on Spotify if I am doing a drive!! You guys are awesome I love the podcast! have a good Christmas and a good new year!
Yes on nespresso pods!! Look forward to bring my v12 vantage down to your event next week and hearing Tony speak nicely about it
Did he give you a solid roasting?
I must admit i haven't tuned in for a while and rarely ever on youtube but i normally listen to the podcast on Spotify while at work and it makes the time pass so quickly and you give informative listening aswell as humour filled entertainment 👍
£15 for travel mug. That sir is bloody value for money for its style and quality. Well done. Have a good Christmas both of you
"Cause I'm fucking driving" - my favorite Tony quote thus far.
Shmee actually took both STO and Black series on track together, and Tony was spot on with his prediction about the brakes.
My week wouldn’t be the same without you guys. Happy holidays
I usually listen to the pod in the car - awesome to see it on video for once. Love it! Keep up the great work!
F8 seems to have sold very well, I've seen a lot of them in the UK more than almost every other ferrari model on the roads. but maybe more people are just willing to drive them over other models. Great content as always looking forward to more podcasts next year!
Literally listen to BTG every week! 🎶 TV Highlight of the week 🎶
Watch every week and thoroughly enjoy you two enormously.
All the best guys, Council Estate, meets private education and as as a veteran, this proves getting on is a free choice we fight for and so glad to see it in action. :)
Thank you guys for some great listening this year
I’ve looked forward to both this and the F1 chat every week.
Can’t wait to received my travel mug order!
Happy holidays, lads! Thank you for all the joy!
Let’s hope they’ve sorted the 296 GTB. SF90 came in last place in EVO Car of the Year 2021. Happy Christmas to Sam and Tony.
Can’t say I’ve missed a podcast this year! Cheers for a great year guys keeping us entertained week in week out! Have a great Christmas! Big things coming in the new year for BTG
merry christmas gents, cheers for the year of great podcasts
Thanks for another year of STG/BTG merry Christmas chaps!
Merry Christmas gents and thanks to the three of you for brightening the days when the podcasts come out 🎉
Tony is right, the F8T was too similar to the 488, but it does look stunning, the 296 will definitely sell in big numbers. GT4 is king for me this year
£15 is actually really quite reasonable for such a nice looking travel mug. Good work Sam 👏🏻
This podcast is amazing. I enjoys two grown men talking about cars for some reason.
You have been fantastic Guys and we had a lot of fun listening to you both.. let’s make the target of 100k next year. Merry Christmas
Just ordered my coffee cup, love listening to Tony's take on the topics, great show, looking forward to next year 👌
I listen every week and always looks forward to a Thursday drive home listening to you both. Thank you and have a great Christmas
except when they do F1, that's a snooze fest
Yeah f1 isn’t for me either all about the regular Thursday podcast
Merry Christmas Tony!

A great BTG season recap, thank you gentlemen, a much enjoyed automotive podcast! Perhaps you can go on your own 2022 "Snow Tour", take the UK ferry to Scandinavia :-)
Its been great a year every single podcast was enjoyable and i watched most twice some 3 times 🙋🏼♂️😄 Keep it up, merry Christmas and happy new year!
I also totally agree with Tony about driving in Manual mode ... I do the exact same!
Have to agree with Tony, I've used cruise control only once ever and I completely zoned out on the motorway, never again.
Love he Podcast..... listen religiously ..... on the coffee front, please make it for the vertuo pods......
Keep up the great content guys. Thanks for all the insight and laughs in 2021 🙌🙌 Have a great 2022.
Another great episode guys thanks for a great year 👍 was lieing in Florida last week listening now home to great British weather lol but listening to use helps roll on 22 thanks again great show👍👍
Another great show guys, enjoy your break. Look fwd to more next year :)

Just bought the mug & pods👍Christmas prezzie to myself
Loved Thursdays this year! Have a great Christmas and New Year. Hoping for more of the same in 22. 💪

Happy Christmas Lads.
Thanks for the entertainment all year long
Gt3 was released in 2021 guys, January to be precise. Only leaks and the top gear tease happened before.

Received my cup and pods ... Taste good Sam only downside is my machine struggled to pierce the pod 👍
Well done guys, kept me interested all year, hope to come to a live event and have Tony take the piss out of my classic car 😂 merry Christmas.
25:47 if you're waiting for a new car, sit down. 🤣🤣

Keep up the great work. Consistent listener from Texas.
Wicked guys
See u in 2022 guys for more fun and laughter
Sam will you be making the other nesepresso pod shapes in the future or sticking with the old shape ones??
Sam should gone to the BMW EV shoot and said “If he absolutely had to have to a Taycan GTS Sport Turismo!” , As the BMW ad cameras were rolling🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
Love the podcast boys. And look forward to the 22 F1 Season review 👌
Merry Xmas Gents!
Merry Chritmas lads
This has become a highlight of my week ….
Another great episode.
Such a fan.
Sam…your next daily. Surely an F Pace SVR

You should let Tony drive the 360😂😂😃
long johns are a winter time winner
Hope you have a great break in Bulgaria! Many fond memories of ski racing there in the 1980s - what is the car scene there?
The most important car without a doubt is lotus Emira, no customer cars delivered yet but very important for the brand.
I leave my DSG in manual only for all situations as well.
I've got one of the cups its great and I'm not really a coffee fan but really enjoyed the coffee pods 😊
The iX highlights the issue with legacy brands transitioning to BEV’s. Shocking looks and packaging.
Only podcast I listen to religiously
I bet Tony rants about elevators the same as he does about cruise control.
"Why not walk up 8 storeys? I wanna be in control and the elevator will not take that away from me, you knob! "
Not the same argument.
@@RAZGR1Z I know.

@@Ddiggler23 Yes , totally agree. Also my dealer said the new SUV will only be produced as a normal model, not like a URUS
Always look forward to this show

It's interesting that everything Sam is attacking on the STO he loves on a Challenge Stradale.
I was really hoping to hit 50k so we could force Tony and Sam to get a Roma. When it was announced I didn’t like the looks or the purpose but it’s grown on me a lot
Tony must be the king of late brakers with how often he destroys a set of discs on a new car!
Me and my friend both own GT4's and have Emira 4 pots on order. God bless stereotypes lol
Have a great xmas.
In moscow russia I’ve seen maybe 9 F8T and supercars are very rare. haven’t seen a single 488 here
Pacific sports cars, Tony? Is that like JDM cars or....? 20:47
Great one
Add was successful, cup and more beans on their way… Also had to by Nespresso machine

I think the Urus should go down in history
If I was in the market for an Emira I'd definitely be drawn to the amg engine.
Autonomous Driving = Take the Bus!!
I was looking into an f type but definitely getting an emira for me looks perfect.
