Good saw log out of that maple butt log. I take out the crooked hardwoods first and then when I get back to that area in a few years we’ll get the straighter ones. All the best in 2025.

@@902hand7 thanks ! They are actually aluminum wedges so if you hit them doesn’t do anything to the chain, that’s what we’ve used forever they are the best !!
@@dougsmith548 happy new year to you !!!!! I bought this drone from a friend who upgraded his, I paid 400$. You can get them used for that, new around 500 or so with one battery. I use mine often they are a bunch of fun, and useful for a lot of things as well.
I'd like to be out there with you Russell, especially on winter days like this and be able to help with the cutting of trees like that. We don't get trees like these in my part of the far eastern part of the Province. Is there a market for maple and beech lumber, in your area?
