CERV III The mid engine Corvette that should have happened.

This was one of many mid engine concepts of a mid engine'd Corvette. This was the first mid engine that almost made it production before the C8. Do to the technology in this vehicle, the consumer cost would have been up to $400 thousand. Chevy had a masterpiece on their hands that is not well known about unless you are a die hard auto enthusiast.

sad it was never made but the average american could have not afforded it. Probably would have destroyed the Corvette lineup do to low sales.

@@chemicalspore I thought the same thing! The convex curve in the rear glass, the steep rake of the front windshield, the angular B-pillar, side profile of the rear bumper and fender at the tail end.
