Oxford fan here- Des’ sacking is diabolical, he’s sacked because of his own success. If we were 24th all season I don’t think he would’ve been sacked, however starting strong and petering off has caused the board to overreact.
As an Oxford fan , the whole fanbase is gutted about it really . He did so much for our club and none of us saw it coming . It’s gonna be hard to have another manager which will have the connection with the fans like he did . He’s had to deal with injuries players underperforming and he’s not even had the January window to bring in his own Players . Very poor decision from the owners
As a Sunderland fan your team were the worst we have faced at Stadium of Light. But you were trying to play football. I hope you get a decent gaffer good luck for rest of season.

Danny Rohl is a young manager who needs to build a reputation. Building his own squad and achieving success is the way to do this. Taking on someone else's squad and getting relegated is not the way to do this. There is no guarantee to getting automatically promoted from the Championship. He needs to think long-term. Wednesday will not sack him. Whatever happens in the next few years. Southampton will get rid pronto, since they believe they are a Premier League team, and nothing but survival will suffice. They will go for Moyes. He will probably keep them up. He's done it before.
Bree and Diaz could do well in the top clubs in the championship. Struijk could do well in the prem but more of a Brighton team than a spurs team he wouldn't get the game time at spurs.

Regardless of money hes got ambitions he knows what he wants and he put himself in a situation where he could have potentially started his career with a relegation, he did the impossible and stayed up. Hes built a reputation already after a year and 2 months i just cant see him putting himself in that situation all oher again and risking having a relegation on his CV so early on in his career after everything hes achaived and the reputation hes begun to build.... Hes a smart man, he waits out and carries on to prove his ability at wednesday a better job will come knocking and who knows, he could potentially take us up within the next 2 years anyway.... But wherever he goes we'll all support him, to be where he is with the squad that hes got and the quality he presents as a manager hes more than capable of hacking the premier league....
