This guy has really cool hair. That is exactly the style that I was going for and yet my hair just wasn't being cut properly. With the pandemic going on I ended up just buzzing most of it off. Maybe I will try to let it grow out again.
Awesome cut. Good job Mahesh. Sometimes I wish I still had hair like this. But there is something to be said about not fussing over hair products or styling.
Hey, if you don't mind that I'm asking - what hairstyle are you rocking now? Because I have similar hair and it's starting to get a bit bothering with all the styling and hair products and what not, as you said. I'm starting to think of something that requires less maintenance.
dkgray I started noticing I was thinning with a receding hairline in '14/'15. I decided to change things up last May and I buzzed my hair. That was a mistake but also an opportunity. I fought myself for the rest of the year. I'm finally over it. I keep my hair short buzz or I shave bald every now and then. It's pretty liberating and I don't worry about it anymore.
So this guy wants slick back undercut, but he isn't blowdrying his hair, and he is wondering why his hair drops to sides? For real? As someone who has had slick back undercut for several years, if you want slick back yourself, say goodbye to not giving proper care to your hairstyle. You will have to blow dry, use products and style your hair every day if you want a slick back. If you are not cut up for the job required, don't bother. The hair won't naturally stay in that place. Its a lot of trouble, and it can get frustrating sometimes, but in my opinion, i think its worth it.
Tf? Lmao what're you on? If it's long enough, you don't have to do anything, just train it. Not a single day did I need product and I don't even use blow dryers.
Exactly what I've always wanted. Unfortunately, most barbers in the city(urban area) cannot get pass the fade or undercut part of the style. They often lack scissor skills or have non at all. Thanks for the video.
I have the same issue mate! The barbers around me are all great when it comes to the fades, undercuts etc but as soon as it comes to the top it's almost as if they don't have a clue! Literally spend 5 minutes just taking the ends off and then calling it a day haha...
It's satisfying when a man has a hair cut like that and I like looking at the back of men's heads when they have a nice slick hair cut and when Thier ears are red it suits
Sea salt spray before you dry will give it that clean but dirtier feel to it, allowing it to stay up better. Then some treseme freeze hold hairspray to keep it on place. Use the hair dryer on a low heat to dry the spray quicker. Done.
That jack Daniels water bottle looks really cool, it just seems like it would get heavy after a while. All in all, love the videos! Especially of Mahesh, he’s fun to watch!
Good job! I wish i have a barber like you with these sovereign skills in my hometown, here in germany! The feelings of your videos are sympathetic and a little "homecoming for understanding the mens world... smile
I'm still looking for a barber who can do it right. They either cut too much, not enough, don't blend the back properly, leave too little or too much support.
Another great tutorial from the wonderful Mahesh... could Mahesh please do a mini series within Beardbrand on typical problem cuts... for example elderly gentlemen who for years brush their hair back against its natural growth direction, usually along the sides, brushing it backwards insisting they want the sides short but don’t want it to stick up along the parietal ridge... any help on these everyday problems would be a massive help to me!
Like what he did with the side for support my only issue is that it looks good now cause its a fresh cut but after a week or so it starts to stick out :/ i have the same issue. I dont have the same style but similar situation there. Still great cut
I’ve got THICK blonde hair and want a slick back hair cut. I blow dry and tried lots of product but it just won’t sit back nicely! Has anyone got any tips?
Does beard brand have any recommended barbers to visit in san diego? Wish I lived in England so I could get a cut from this guy. He's a great barber and super chill!
I should’ve shown this to my barber, but the deed is done, I look like current Greg’s brown counterpart.. which isn’t a bad thing 🤔 this ones defo my next cut, another great upload lads 👌🏼
OMG, anyone can see this is not a fade. It’s a undercut with a slight blend. It’s higher than normal because this is what was asked for. Enjoy 😉

I feel a lot of barbers/stylist get intimated doing blends/fades so high
Mahesh Hayward I read it really quickly and thought it said “slick, back fade”. I was like you fading all the way down to his bum?
I'm confused. Why does it say skin fade in the title if it's not a fade?
Thank mate. I was confused at first but now it makes sense.
I don’t know many barbers but I was married to a hairdresser who had her own very busy business, and she said you are a top barber, I may pop in when I’m down in swanage in June , cheers Phil
pls do do it
BeardBrand is a channel that have just increased the level of personal grooming
This client has nice hair to work with, and he is given a distinctive new look that flatters his reglar features, and showcases the shape of his head.
That spray bottle tho.... amazing.
Interesting fact, Jack Daniel's is one of the only bottles that you can screw on practically any spray top.

My barber uses jack Daniels bottles too. It’s pretty cool
I use a Tennessee Fire Jack Daniels bottle and get great reactions from it!
Such an amazing barber. He is very detailed and explains so much on why thinning helps out a lot.
Nice haircut. Total trend for 2018. Salute 2 the barber.

Freehanding a fade is for the godly barbers. Your blend clearly states otherwise.

That slick back skin fade haircut is awesome.

vasilije94 relax he’s a typical footballer nothing between the ears but grey matter 😂
I have slicked back hair and I never have to blow dry. It all depends on the texture of your hair.
Blow drying is bad for your hair
@@Dragoncoolboll1 it's not that bad plus you can blow dry with cool air

i love this mixture of alternative rock and classy 80s pop playing in this shop.
How is that faded? There's a harsh line and severe bulk before the long top?😅
I’m going to ignore the “fade” but I love watching your videos, helps me a lot with my scissor work

Cut looks phenomenal!! Masterful skill I wish the barbers in my area could do this. Props Mahesh!
Great cut! I rock a similar style and have the same issue as him with the side falling down. Definitely going to run this by my barber.
I'm still looking for a barber who can do it right. They either cut too much, not enough, don't blend the back properly, leave too little or too much support.
