End result is uneven af.
The right side fade looks *slightly* faded in, then the left side fade just looks choppy and unfinished. Not symmetrical in the slightest.
That’s an unfinished cut and *definitely* an unfinished fade. Get you some better clippers.

Been rocking the slick back look for 17 years had to give it up once I start going bald, damn I miss my hair. One of the few styles that can keep you out of the barber shop as long as you got gel moose or oil.

@@Angel-jl7vf I think it’s the hairstyle and the brushing back that messes up the hairline ever since I grew my hair out my hairline has been going thin and receding slowly
Definitely one of the harder cuts I’m still mastering, go a little too high and boom, hair won’t lay down, great work.

I like the way the lower part of his nape is shorn but I think he would look better with a better blend between short and long areas.
That fade was terrible. The scissor work and styling was great but I can still see your guidelines on the bottom

I've finally grown my hair out for a year and a half and counting. I'm Native, so I have a goal on my look out of respect. I have been tempted so many times to take this cut, to the point you're reading this. You cut anything, it's a reset. Slick back 2" braids for a year, then I'll get it styled.
Is it like a religious thing for Native Americans ? Because this would look good with Native hair

Our hair is very sacred and a lot of the time you’ll be told that you should never cut your hair because of what it holds but many of us decide to cut it. I wore braids for at least 15 years and I’m 18 now. Got my first haircut in September last year. I’m getting a slick back today though cuz I haven’t went back since lol
Will tbh no i have the buzz rn ima let my hair grow then get the slickback depends on what u do with urs i reccomend getting a taper or a low drop fade its much better that way

I have a question. Every time I get a low fade , there’s bald spots on my sides. I’m not sure if I’m balding or it’s my barber who’s cutting to much. Should I tell him to go light on my sides when getting a low fade?
@Itachi Uchiha I got a blowout instead of a low fade and the bald spots didn’t really show so Ima stick with that haircut from now on but not for so long bc I have straight hair

I often go to my barber just to get extra hair bits so when I drink whiskey at home I can add the trimmings to the mix and really get that gritty texture I like.
as a client: i won't like my barber to drink some whiskey before using a razor on my face LOL

As a barber I can honestly say he needs way more practice on his fading maybe stretch your guidelines instead tryna keep a compressed fade And taper the beard

This is not good fade. I work for one barber who makes fades like this for every client. And he is proud of his work. Some barbers are blind for their work. But he can somehow see the smallest mistake i made on my fades. I am taking all his clients, and people are talking that I do better job, but he is just blind and deaf for reality. When someone gives you cut like this, change barber, its not going to get any better.
