Steps: Go to the equip screen For weapons, headgear, clothes and shoes, change the sorting to have a top bar visible. For best results, choose a screen where the next screens have fewer options than the screen you will try on. Press L and R at the same time, then quickly down on the D-pad. You will know it worked if the icon on the left is different than the name and gear on your character. Make sure to choose the OPTION WITH THE BLANK NAME. It will only work that way. If it doesn’t show up, try again on another screen. Do this for all options from weapons to shoes. Press minus - for freshest fits and register your fit. Then you can exit and it will work.
If you open the clothing, shoe, weapon, or headgear shop and then do this glitch, you can actually exit out of the equip menu and press L or R a few times and you can have no clothes on in the shops.
I discovered that you just need to press either L or R to pull off the glitch instead of both. it makes it easier if you need a certain page to switch off. It works as usual, just press down immediately after pressing one of the two. Great video anyways, i was so lost trying to make it alone lol
I'm pretty sure in order for this to work you have to save over an already made Freshest Fit. Every time i save it to a blank spot it just doesn't work right
It's easier to do with joy cons, instead of pressing L R and Down, just press left right and down at the same time on the directional pad. If you still can't get it, press left slightly before pressing the other 2, that seemed to work for me.
@@Limenades Well you have to be on a screen where the left and right screens have to have less options than the screen between them to work. That’s a good way to get a blank option.

At least the Inkling/Octoling will join the Shirtless club next to Shirtless Sephiroth, Shulk, Kazuya, and Shirtless TOTK Ganondorf.

the shops were actually the only places where I could pull the glitch off. easier than the equip screen imo.
@@VGCeilingFan Well you can go to the equip screen outside the shops too
Thank you for explaining this😭

It probably might be both that can work. Is it pressing them? The timing might be the hard part.
