Your kitchen cabinet selection was perfect! Out of the 4 choices, I think the oak you selected brought beauty, elegance, warmth and strength to the overall look of the kitchen. I'm not real keen on white faucets and handles though, but that's just my opinion. Overall you did a fantastic job!
Great video for advice for kitchen trim out and cabinets! I have always liked keeping the kitchen in lighter tones and monotone counters- but I'm a plumber with both commercial and residential backgrounds. the pics look like you got the gorgeous and the functional spot on! Love the apron sink with two dishwashers- you do like to cook and will make it happen! Best to Paul and the family!FR
Loved seeing the cabinets you picked! Good to know about the different types of wood. Is there a coffee solution you can purchase that doesn’t use single-use K-cups? Maybe something that uses filters that are compostable? Can’t wait to see how it all turns out 😊
Yes, there are a few options that wouldn't require pods. We're kind of still on the hunt because we're also trying to find the perfect solution that isn't $3000 lol
Great question! We rarely use paper plates, we cook nearly every meal at home for our family, and we enjoy having lots of people over. So it made sense to have two instead of having a cabinet in that space.
No one needs two, but two makes life better. If I had the space in my kitchen, I would have definitely put in two dishwashers during my remodel. With 3 kids, we go through a lot of dishes throughout the day.
Be careful about recommending this company until all of your cabinets are shipped and installed and you are happy. There is a lot that can go wrong between ordering and installing them. Cabinets can have mismatching panels, they can be damaged in shipment, they can be damaged at the factory, they can be put together out of alignment, they can be non-uniform in measurement, they can be built out-of-square, etc. There is a LOT of problems that can occur. It looks like this company is pretty good and so I don't expect you'll have problems, but wait until you have a finished product before your provide recommendations. Also, using a stainless steel hood vent is recommended because it is easy to clean and it matches almost all finishes and it doesn't go out of style.

Two makes it easier if you have pots and pans and other large odd sized items, in addition to dishes, cups, etc. I end up having to handwash stuff because I can't fit pots and pans along with dishes with one dishwasher. At the end of dinner, I'd rather run one cycle using two dishwashers instead of just having one and waiting for it to finish and then having to run another load afterwards. It takes 2.5 hrs for one load on my dishwasher
Your biggest advantage i can with your design i s the openness and all the natural light you have from the great room
Definitely!
I absolutely LOVE the cabinets. So glad you are doing a wood grain vs painted.
Thank you!

Are you two going to do the installation yourself? Design and selection looks very nice. Looking forward to seeing the kitchen come together.
Yes, we will do install ourselves
I would too. Looking good.
Now it’s her turn.

Why would anyone need TWO dishwashers?! o.O

Looks like their website is down

Why two dishwashers?
A big family. Big family dinners. Lots of dishes
