Absolutely love this series - would you consider showing a cleanup video - all the work that goes in leaves scuffs and dings and trash and concrete slurry etc . I think people seeing just how careful we as contractors have to be and how much work goes into being clean would help justify what it is that we do beyond our craftsmanship
I didn't know they made stone that just screws on like that. I am definitely going to look into that for my build! I have stonework planned on the front of my house and I can do that myself! Thanks for sharing this video. Another great piece of info from you!
Yes! It's awesome to work with, and won't be as time consuming or expensive as going with traditional stone. We're really happy with how it turned out.
Good to see a "project win"! Found Spray Jones preliminary discussion about the water problem. Glad to see you using the available resources! Hope you, Emily and kids get this back in gear soon!
I used my table saw with a Hardi blade for cutting all my soffit material. There were hundreds of feet of cuts. I was almost done when the saw went up in smoke. I'm pretty sure it was the concrete dust that killed it. For that reason, I used a very old circular saw for as many cuts as I could as I considered it sacrificial. I also used my 32 year old Delta miter box for cross cuts on my siding. So far it's still functioning, though it did consume a drive belt.
I have that same folding ladder. A Krause if I remember correctly. Make sure to spray oil into the lock/unlock joints since those little pins tend to get stuck if anything gets in them.
@@MrPostFrame Yep, those little red/orange things will tend to jam making it impossible to fold the ladder back together. I would also recommend drilling and running a screw/bolt thru the base that holds the horizontal foot brace on. It comes loose easily. Good ladder, just some bad engineering. I ended up drilling in an eye bolt on the base side so I could hook a bungee cord to it and hook the other end around a stud so the ladder base won't slide out. The stone was a nice look. It's all in the precision cuts that makes the complex look simple...
Once again what an awesome job! It looks beautiful the fire place is going to look great also.Keep up the great work. Jack of all trades totally! Have A good one B safe and be well Bob Bitchin!!
Thank you. Nice work. Do you have a video where a new exterior door was installed and old existing stone is in-place, with a rugged air gap around the door?
Rather than grinding the bottom tab off, would grinding the back of the lower 'angles' on either side to a 45 degree angle work? It may allow you to bring the piece in horizontal and raise the top end to a vertical position without the back 'thickness' pinching/binding on the wall.
little off topic, but i wonder if you applied some kind of coating similar to what they spray in truck beds to the outside of your house if it would stop the condensation issue, i think they make it in white.... just a thought. I'm about to start building a house similar to yours with a metal outside, i await with baited breath to hear how you're going to fix this issue. I want to make sure i don't repeat the problem you're having. Thanks
If you're building a house with metal siding and roofing you need to educate yourself real quick about insulation and condensation. Outside moisture has nothing to do with what is going on. If you don't have that figured out yet, please don't start to build.
@@bp4170 If you’re not aware of the ongoing issue that these people are having right now, then go back a couple videos and check it out, he knew what he was doing and still ended up with the problem. I’ve been building for 35 years I really don’t need your help, thanks
@@bolweval Ok, don't educate yourself. Good luck with your house! BTW I'm very aware with their situation and what causes it. Marshall Remodel even says in the video what caused the problem.
Overall I say it's a good job and looks pretty nice, BUT you should NEVER have cut the stone to leave those tiny little slivers. Should've found other stone panels to cut to avoid those slivers. Looks like a rookie installed it.

Nice job-a classical look with timber beams and stone.
Thank you!
You dont know how long i searched for a video like this. How to install the stone in a thin/narrow column like this
Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Glad to see your not letting the moisture stuff keep you from making progress. keep on keeping on! rooting for you guys!
Thank you! We are pressing on. Hope to release an update in the next couple of days.
I love it!! That stone makes that entryway.

Thank you, appreciate the comment!
The stone around the door is beautiful! You did an awesome job 👏! 😊👍💕💕💕
Well done! The outdoor now matches the inside!
Love that stone! I think it would look awesome along the bottom 3 feet on the front of the house and garage

@@MrPostFrame Nothing we didn't already expect from ya'll ,Paul!
The stone looks really good and appears to be easy to install!
Your house would look awesome with a full Versetta stone wainscot!
Yes! the bottom 3 feet of metal was done that way on purpose so that we could add stone down the road!
You’re right it does look amazing with that door and side windows makes it look 🤑 rich. Great job
Awesome job, looks very clean. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to the fireplace and mantle
Paul. Beautifully installed stone. One heck of a nice job. That should last a lifetime; because as of more quality workmanship! I am jealous...
certainly finishes it off beautifully Paul :)
Thank you! We're thrilled with it.

Sometimes that happens. Definitely don't plan on doing a ton of work with material like this without investing in another tool option.
Love the video! #VersettaStone stone siding in Mission Point looks great - nice work!

Thank you. Nice work. Do you have a video where a new exterior door was installed and old existing stone is in-place, with a rugged air gap around the door?
Above the door, could you have trimmed off your starter so it was a full piece?
Great Video! Thanks! Is that a 12" miter saw or is it bigger than that?
great job...is that the sand color

Looks great nice job , how wide is your entry looking to do something similar?
That stuff looks great. $20 a square foot
Thanks! It's not a bad price compared to a lot of other options!
would you know if this can be installed over stucco? I am seeing this product alot!
What style and color is this stone? We had it on our last house and would like to use it again. Looking at Ledgestone in Mission Point.
So did you plug that top hole that you drilled out with anything?
very nice. how is that water issue going?
Plan to release and update in the next couple of days

What color Versetta stone is this? I’m finding the samples look nothing like the color images online or in the brochure.
