American Airlines Boeing 757 Takeoff from Dallas/Fort Worth to San Francisco (September 2011)

Takeoff for the three and a half hour flight from DFW to SFO. Always a pleasure to ride on the B757. Notice how the captain interrupts the safety briefing by announcing the takeoff.

I can tell just how bad the drought was at this point. I took off from there May 2016 and it was much greener. Always a quick rotation with the B752 on a shorter flight.

Hum, it say that electronics should be off and stowed :). yes you can use an Ipad in the air as long as the wireless feature is off. The signals will make ticking noises in the pilots ears. It is a safety issue. There eagle pulling up the side there. Wow, I miss flying

Not really. The main concern is interference with the pilots and ATC. Then pilots wouldnt be able to hear traffic alerts, commands, etc from atc. Thats an issue. Its the equivalent of being stranded in a forest all alone, but in airplanes.
