Legends of Arkain consists of an original plot where the True story coalesces the story told throughout the First and Second Books of the three races of Arkain into one. This retroactively overhauls older maps in significant ways with re-terraining, adding characters, adding playable factions, and fleshing out the storyline overall.
The races of Arkain fight against the demon invaders, who try once again to enslave every being on Arkain. The Humans, the Orcs and the Undead will have to make a stand against them... or face complete annihilation or enslavement by the Demons.

Not quite balanced now, is he?
He's definitely not.
Food for thought - if true story was to be animated and done properly, and given blank check to hire whichever voice actor/actress if their schedule and will allows, who would be picked for main characters of each race?
I thought that Gardon and Aveen Elvir were lovers not siblings. Well done Shar!
For once Aridon is doubtful
Yeah, I guess you can say that he’s… tilted
@@hanyuzhu7276 He was thrown Off Balance. Serves him right for being so Self Serving and Petty with what he's doing to Brian, and for being Responsible for literally everything because of the Demon Gods Death, Tregahks corruption of the Empire and the Invasion of the Demons
From Rogthil words, it's like Aridon tried to gaslighted everyone but eventually gaslighting himself in the process, which is the so called "balance".
balance has always been an excuse for aridon to commit genocide, mind play, kidnap, tortures or all cruel acts
@@nguyenthanhuc9595and its ironic that he made himself believe a lie he has made up ,its like telling an unfunny joke that you laugh at.
Honey, I'm not going to church today, Jay dropped a new Arkain video, the priest will understand.
The priest was also absent.
That's funny. Westerners still go to church? I thought everybody was atheist now in western countries.
@@Positive8477Pretty sure he doesn’t go to church anyways and was just saying that as a joke
@@Positive8477 although im sure this was a joke; there are a lot of christians, jews, muslims (and other religions) in western countries
Rahandir trying to be the voice of resson while is master is now angry, vengeful, & does not know how to respond to his plan being derailed
Mordin asking how are the kids threw me off. It sounded like Rahandir had a family
Also RIP Tremalon, you were my favorite exposition man ever
Children of Renova
Half Elves
@@notshockwavedemon7543 I know, just the wording sounding like his kids if you didn’t know the context
Maybe he had kids in his old life, but if he did we would see some moments when he thinks about them like if there will be in an interlude two kids again"they remind me of my kids"or something similar.
I am so happy to see another one, but also sad that it is coming to an end.
My only wish is that the Destroyer could have been here to see it.
He's watching from on high
He was always watching us from up,giving us hope and courage to face demons and avenge his death.
Now even if he was still alive, would he fit in this New Age and in the Tribal Dominion?
I'm pretty sure he just means that Aveen is gonna die to the orcs, not Brian killing her.
Yeah you are probably right
32:50 Rogthil don't want to be divided into 3 pieces so he divide himself into 4 pieces instead.
It would have been cool if his clones were the previous bonelords, would be cool and show that he is a powerful creature.
Ironically I'm looking forward to when I'll forget enough of this series so I'll want to watch it all over again. That's a real lot of good content you're creating.
for one moment i thougt Rogthil will be cage again, now is very strong indeed this give more sense to the narrative of the esense of the gods in the arkains, for me inst so crazy like im seen before of the bonelords, interesting
I was really expecting the second main quest to be to kill Progaderas so it surprised me that the mission was just over after Rogthil escaped. I guess it could've been just one main quest with an update instead of two but still works.
The Ndead situation: Ornasion is disillusioned
Rahandir is disillusioned
The Bonelord/s are/is disillusioned
Aridon becomes disillusioned
Jesus Christ am I intrested in what happens now!
Don't forget Kazardius. He and the rest of his fallen brethren found out that Aridon lied when he said that Zyainor's lineage was extinct.
Aridon needs Krom to teach him how to CRACK
Too bad that its now a bone fragmentation,i liked it more before;(.
Poor prodgeras he had to be the most unluckiest Creature in all of Arkain, btw were was he? He sensed Aridon and ran away?
He got his ass kicked by the dwarfs,he ain't coming back again.
@@deathknight126 A Red Day has words for you on that.
Its nice that i was 273 th like' under this and last video of arkain, speculations. I love the series and how it doesbt stop. Good work shar and Jay!
Never clicked so fast on a video
It seems Bonelords enabled FFA game mode now
Technically, the last time we had control of Aridon was from Act 3 (Purging of the Lor) which was the last time we had control of Aridon.
Wasn’t he also present in the Siege of the Dead Mountain mission?
@@hanyuzhu7276and in that forest mission pearl of Lor,purging of the pearl was it,where he wanted to kill those Forgotten Ones fools?
I wonder, does Aridon even realize what he did? Or is his "balance" a coping mechanism for his own misdeeds and guilt?
Edit: Reminder to self, watch video to end before commenting theories. Wrote this just before Jay had the same idea.
Yes and in the end he used it to basically fool himself of his selfish acts abd beliefs, ironic i'd say.
5:45 "as you wish, sir." Said Captain Rahandir to Lord Aridon
Amazing work jay😎
Well job sport
I wanna know more abt krom ngl for one of aridon's most trusted servant and one of the few arkanians left he isnt show much and has been in the drain for a while now i wanna know his perspective of this especially when rahandir is a bit shakey on aridon now, i also wanna know if what he said to bhariizel is true that he is slowly dying
Honestly why does everyone blame brian for Ronald mistakes,he decided to antagonised Gardon him at every turn,Renald is the who chose to betray Gardon,Gardon is not a kinslayer,Renald is
I agree. Gardon is the product of his upbringing/environment, not shadow "corruption".
Renald was following orders, just as Gardon was. But it was Gardon who killed Edward first. So Gardon is the actual kinslayer. Overall the blame is with the "Emperor".
Aveen blames Brian because he influenced Gardon to be the way he is.
@@matthewsteele99 Renald still spent most of his time doing nothing but play with his thimb the entire time when he was in arkain, and Edward charged first if he somehow managed to kill Gordon no one would called him that,Renald may no be a kinslayer but he and his children are all hypocrits
Aveen blaming brian is more like acusing him of every bad act gardon did is his fault, when is not true ,Gardon may have learned from him but he himself seems to became so cold from family treatment so her point is still biased,
And yes everthing is the emepror fault which means everthing is the dark one fault, which means everthing is Ardion fault,so thanx Aridon from ruinning everyine day
@@simionmatei9715
I think it is clear that Tregakh manipulated Aveen against Bhaarizel the same way he manipulated Renald against Gardon.
Aridon and his blasted lust for his balance be cursed!
@@matthewsteele99 i agree that renald and aveen are manipilated, dosen't change the fact that they don't take some of the blame for gardon, but i do agree with you.
Lust for balance can also be a fancy way of saying, you and everyone go away evertythings is mine, all the power everthing,im right me Me Me .
Goodbye Trem, we hardly knew ya.
Ok, that answers one part of my previous comment (what happens to twins later is anyone's guess).
Now THAT is a plot twist we didn't see coming, on the other hand, seems like undead nexi are in for a schism at least and civil war at most, at least on first glance.
Waiting for next episode(where's the popcorn, out, going to buy more......)
I used to think maybe Brian is the only okay one from these gods or whatever but I suppose they're all the same in the end. All of them are control freaks, all of them want power.
I don't think we know much about Tregath but what's really the difference between Brian and Aridon? They both use mind controlling things, they are both backstabbers. The only difference is I like undead more :D
I think its more that when Brian/Bharaziel started to inhabit his current form, as Brian says at the end of Act 7, he's Brian and The Master of Shadows, but at the same time a different person with both of their memories. So while All 4 of the Gods may have been Selfish Monsters, Brian being reborn into his current form allowed him to develop more complex Morals, alongside the fact that he saved the Orcs from Extinction and forged both the Dominion and Zyainor from the Shadows. In Comparison, Aridon has had Centuries to himself up on his mountain, surrounded by Servants who can't really talk back to him, and it has gotten to the point where he just believes anything that he does is the right thing and that those who disagree with it are ''A Threat to the Balance'' as a way of trying to defend himself. He's also not the same person he used to be, but the lies he has woven are so thick that he is now starting to believe that what he thinks is true, as Until now, he has never questioned himself about the decisions he takes. Over All, Brian is alot more Morally Good than Aridon, but is still capable of bad decisions, while Aridon is only now given a chance to reflect on what he has done.
Adding onto this, Brian isn't the one responsible for the Mind Control Amulets that Gardon Uses, that's just different Dark Magic altogether, Amari is completely under his control but that's more because he saved her via his teachings. As for Gardon, Gardon kinda does his own thing, and Brian Advises. As for Tregahk, Aridon's Betrayal of him and turning all the others against him made him bitter and ultimately worse. He kinda stayed the same whereas Aridon believed in his own lies and Brian started to slowly change for the better. As of now, everything he does is to Spite Aridon for causing all the bad shit in his existence.
Imagine a skeleton bend his knees
Balance was a mistake
the balance is a invention for power
Wooo😊
les go it's almost the end GG M8
11:00 STOP! I hope he's not going to kill Veil! This will destroy the alliance with the kingdoms, black dragons and lead humanity to collapse and destruction! Or am I misunderstanding something? Help 😱😱😱
He surely referes to Aveen.
Every character and faction is taking a L in some way except for Amari, at least so far. Really hoping we'll see her bite the dust a little. She just gets away with everything every time.
…Literally the most recent mission had her main target escape, almost all her forces blown up, her severely injured and Gorehowl being further suspicious of her and making a deal with Gorthog to move against her in the future. How is that not an L?
@@matthewgarcia1485 her main target was sasrogarn, and I don't know what makes you think most of her forces are gone. I assume that you're aware of the stuff that happens in the story but spoiler alert:
Gardon bites the dust against the undead and demons in the gates of hell (hasn't happened in the true story yet but he had to kill half his family), Aridon lost his most (or one of the most) powerful servant and possibly nexus as well (scarec seems like the most powerful, not sure if that's lore accurate) as the trust of his most important servant, Amari hasn't actually lost a single time, managing to eliminate everyone she remotedly disliked and manipulating every event, having the perfect solution for every problem as it comes. Taking a L on the bloodstone chapter would have been Inara dying, Sasrogarn surviving and Gorehowl confirming her murder attempt and declaring war on the dominion. That's the sort of catastrophe that everyone is hit/is going to be hit by. Amari, like I said, and unless something changes lore wise, gets away with everything.
@@YberDC It's because Amari is smart and the others aren't. In any case, her situation is much more tumultuous than it originally was in the Second Orc Book.
@@YberDC She didn't want Sas to Die, but Inara broke her promise to keep him alive. She was there to avenge the murder of Brockta by killing the Bloodstones. Orgen was her Main Target, it was a test to see who would be worthy enough to lead the combined forces after Rangul died.
@@JayborinoPlays That's for sure, and she's depicted as much more evil than she originally was.
Wait, so why has the regular spirit legionnaires gotten a new model (the one with the ice shield), but the “spirit legionnaire elites” summoned by Aridon still uses the old model? Shouldn’t it be other way around?
Either Shar didn't had time to make a new one or he thought it was good how it already was or he didn't cared😂.
Probably just didn't have time to bother with it. You barely get to use Aridon anyways, so I think its fine
Aveen called Gardon "thero" right? I wonder what does "thero" mean?
41:55 oh yeah! This is me yesterday, just like Aridon "I have to examine myself and ask myself" "Is This Really Me?!"... I have my own tiny Faction (NOT in Arkain, elsewhere!) of a Nation of Scuba Divers called "SCUBA Cult", but the rocky road that let me up to this point of creating this nation. I have to ask myself "Is this really me? What my 10 year old self wanted?"
14:40 Overlord but its Warcraft 3.
Aridon is Ainz
not anime here sirs ty
@@iziskywalker8699 It could totally be an Anime with enough time and Effort, not to mention there's moments where it feels like Anime, like the fight Between Zairmak and Kenos
Look, friend, the only thing that anime has value is its more serious stories, some of which are made in the West, and we prefer the East so as not to go with nonsense.
And the term fantasy was not invented in the East to start there, and the term anime was born in France, not Japan, they just took that term and used it because it is in the public domain.
so I prefer fantasy story than the term anime
If you have a difference with that, go to wc3 maps that are animes with the theme and dialogues in their characters@@Carpenter0361
For once Aridon is doubtful
Hello there. Are choices incorporated in True Story? Or only small minor ones make an impact and that the True Story outcome would still be the same no matter what?
The second one
@@hanyuzhu7276 Neat. Guess there's no more worries remembering stuff before. Time to play it again.
It wouldn't be a True Story if it can be changed even with the smallest decision you make, there are choices you can make ,but it only affects the gameplay which is not that much, for example in the "Long live the Queen"mission the golden guard base would join you freely in the books, but here in True Story ironfist assassinates its leaders, not big change but it exists.
Huh so Aveen is Gardon's aunt. I thought that she was Gardon's previous mentor before Brian showed up because of the "thero" reference
Close. Gardon and Aveen are Siblings, with Thero being Aveens way of Calling Gardon her brother because her mother wouldn't let her call Gardon her Brother in public when they were young.
Pretty sure they're Step Siblings as well, and I don't know if Aveen is directly related to the Emperor or is also another half child.
This fight to bonelord is completly aniz owan goal fighting shellta in overlord,an undead mage owner fighting his op undead rebellous slave
Ainz gool owan
Why are we wasting a final act chapter on this and Bloodstone?
The Bloodstone mission was mainly an excuse for Amari to not be there when Redfist made his move against the Orcs, Sasrogarn also being killed by Inara was to be expected. The Bloodstones are severely weakened now and only a few of them are left supporting The Redfist, Meanwhile, this has Major Lore Implications and leaves a cliff hanger with Rogthil being a possible antagonist for the stuff after the True Story is over, not to mention giving Aridon time to sit down and think about what he's done. They're not wasting chapters. The Final Act was gonna go longer than the others anyways, but both are required to get to the endgame missions with full context and Narrative
