Just a quick workaround on the ds4 controller on sekiro on PC.

Keyboard and mouse works fine and its not a downgrade compared to controller lmao.

it works like a charm . it only works in this order
1) Stop the nvidiacontainer
2) OPEN ds4windows and check hide controller
3) Edit profil controller to "xbox "
4) open the game and it works
NB : It fixed also the annoying spinning camera bug

Tried to play elden ring a few months ago and controller didnt work. I got into dark souls and decided to give sekiro a try. This is the first fix i tried and I was very happy to see it works. Came to the conclusion that Sekiro is not the game for me so i reinstalled Elden ring when I saw that the fix should work for elden ring too. And it works thank you so much dude

FIX :
Make a local-only config save.
Steam Big Picture Mode -> Library -> Sekiro -> Controller Configurations -> Export Config -> Make a local-only config save -> Play game.

It worked for me after alot of struggle. The trick is to figure out which apps share the controller and those apps must be disabled to let DS4windows run exclusively. I disabled everything: the NVidia services mentioned in the video, the ingame overlay from nvidia experience, steam, uplay, origin, epic games, origin, even the xbox windows game bar. It wasn't working till I randomly closed Netflix then it worked for some reason lol.
All UWP apps must be disabled for this too work.

If you use most up to date ds4windows, make sure to add DS4Windows as an exception to the hidhide config client

I already knew this but it still wasn't working for me for the longest time. Make sure you enable hide controller BEFORE you start the game. I think thats what fixed it.

I've tried all this but still can't get it to work. If I launch Sekiro with the controller plugged in It won't let me get past press any key in the main menu. If I plug it in after I launch the game it often crashes, keyboard mouse stops working. Any suggestions?
