Thank you for the video. I wonder how well it follows you on a cart path? I play hilly courses and the cart paths are uneven and I'm concerned in follow mode it would veer slightly off the path and tip over
Is the R3 much better than the R2? In Australia, I can only get the R2 at the moment, but I'm willing to wait for the R3 if it's significantly better..
The major improvement is the follow ability without the remote. It also has a better body and presentation, folds more conveniently, and seems a bit more stable. The R2 was good but I think the R3 is a solid step up.
Thank you for this video! I just bought the Caddytrek R3X. Do you happen to know if it's possible to turn down the volume of the beeping? I've muted the remote but not the cart. It doesn't sound very loud in this video, but it sounds very loud in-person. I'm worried about disturbing other golfers.
I am in the market for an electric golf trolley. Are there any things negative about the R3. I’m looking for more reviews and haven’t really seen any. I want something that follows you but there are not many players in the market and I like the AI follow feature. It’s been some time since this post is this R3 living up your expectations? Thank you l,
The R3 is good but the process of stopping it and having it re-zoom following is a little bit clunky at times. Keep in mind, however that you can always use the remote as another option. Overall, I think it’s a very good unit that will probably get even better with the next iteration.
@@MIGolfLive What about the beeping? It doesn't sound very loud in the video, but now that I've purchased and heard in-person, it seems much louder. By any chance, is there any way to mute or turn it down? I'm worried about disturbing other golfers.
Why with all the electric caddies out there none comes with a ice chest for a 6-pack and a fold chair for slow play? Let’s face it those who buy an electric caddy are retired lazy and frugal dude like myself. I don’t want to dish out $6:00 for a beer or $3.50 for a coke….plus tip! An attached ice chest and a folding chair will make a round almost perfect even if I just hooked one in the bushes.

I’ve found it follows very accurately. Walk down the center of the path and you’ll be fine.
where do you fit the small beer cooler?
I own the R2 currently and am very happy with it, I'm thnking of upgrading to the R3. Is the R3 advanced enough to make that ugrade?
It does have some very handy technological upgrades, but I don’t know if they are enough to render version to obsolete.

I believe you can within the remote but you’ll want to contact CaddyTrek to be sure of the process
@@MIGolfLive Hope so. I would really hate for this noise to be a deal-breaker. I've contacted CaddyTrek. Thank you for your response!
@@jman4582 it’s not as loud in the open at the courses. Much quieter than most of the music being blasted.
That is good to know. Thank you again!
Is there marching mode in R3?
Not like the prior model. With the R3 you’ll need to March it w the remote.
Can you do an R3X review?
@@quickvr4 happy to but need to get that model. They only sent the e5

Has anyone purchased this?
Yes. Hundreds.
