I have had so many requests for a video on Ballroom hairstyles, and I am thrilled to say it's finally here!
I thought I would start with the most asked ballroom hairstyle question when it comes to ballroom hairstyles……..how do you get the ultimate shine!
In today's Ballroom Hairstyle video, I am going to show you how I created this ultra high-shine ballroom hairstyle.

Today's video is all about how to create that highly sought after ballroom hairstyle shine.
I will take you through each step and what products and tools I use to achieve the ultimate high shine.
If this is something that that you have always wanted to learn then this video is definitely for you.
Once you have mastered the shine you have now learned the base of any ballroom hairstyle from high buns to low buns and extravagant ballroom hairstyle creations. The base is there for you to create from and from here you can create any ballroom hairstyle look.
Creating looks like this is not easy, like everything it takes hours of practice and products play an important role in creating a professional long-lasting look. I stock all the products used in this video from the comb to the brush, the hairnets, Silhouette mousse, hairspray, and gel along with the got2b hairspray as well. Do all hairspray give that shine?
Not all give such a high shine combined with a good strong hold. But a lot is down to the brush and good technique

What kind of hairband was that?
I call it a pin harness. If you watch some of my other videos it shoes it more clearly. It’s an elastin band hooked on a hair pin. The hair pin is pushed through the ponytail and the band wrapped around and hooked on to it. Let me know how you get on x
Why do they style it like that with so much product?
Dancers need for the hair to be secure. They dance at high intensity over many rounds and for many hours. The style has to withstand the dancing and the sweat and last all day. Sometimes a dancer will wear the style for multiple days, therefore it also has to be slept in…hope that helps you understand the need for all the product x
@Daniela_Divine_Style why those specific hairstyles? Is there a history or tradition behind it at well? Wouldn't a shaved head just be more efficient?
isn't all that product in your hair bad for hair health?
It’s important to look after your hair and make sure you use good quality products and products that help replenish. Also it’s important to use products that protect the hair during styling. If you watch my video on how to wash and care for you hair, I recommend hair masks and leave in conditioners. Finally avoid over-styling the hair when you don’t need to ….give the hair a test….💕
