I want to master this. I just bought an auto car. I have driver's license for manual. I haven't drive for the past few years because my workplace was super close to home so I hadn't any urge to drive one. Now I need a transport.
People talked down about me about not having car. Everywhere I go, they looked me down, maybe 'cause I'm a burden to society. People also said I wasted my time because I don't put any effort to buy & drive a car. Yeah I have the money but not the courage. What I'm scared about is hurting another car/ people.
I looked funny when I drive. I asked my workplace friends to guide me. Each one of them is patiently helping me. They laughed at me but not in a way I felt bad. Then there's an issue of parking lot in front of the house. My house mates cars already filling the spot. One of them will be away for a few days so I thought I could park temporarily at their place. Though, my friend from work helped me to place the car straight.
Then I suggest my house mate to just double park me, so tomorrow they can move to my neighbor's lot temporarily until I master my parking skill (I already discuss with the neighbor, I'm going to pay them). My house mate came home & angry. I felt attacked. They ask me to move my car. I felt super nervous when I suddenly have to do this. They finally help to rearrange every cars at the park lot so everything can fit. The problem is, the gap for each cars are too close and I think I will have the problem to adjust.
Sometimes today I wish I could delay buying the car and just suffer like my usual days. I don't want to give up on trying but it's really hard to breathe today. I misjudged my terrible communication skill.
