Nice and fair review! Season ticket holder here. I was at this game in that crowd under the overhang (turns out it was a wise move to select covered seats). The first season in the stadium we still had the organ and would have a "7th inning stretch" between 3rd and 4th quarter. I think we've found a nice melding of baseball and football. There's something laid back about the venue. Hopefully we'll keep growing and eventually fill more seats! PS the horn still scares the $h%t out of me every time!

I totally agree, there is something special about the laid back atmosphere of Center Parc. Would love to comeback for a sunny afternoon game here and enjoy a dog and a brew! - Nate

What happened to the organ? Why was it removed? Did GSU get $$ for it?

@@TheMrPeteChannel no idea! It's not been used or spoken of since the first season in the stadium.

Appreciate the kind words! Center Parc definitely has a lot of potential. Would love to see GA State’s program grow more throughout the next couple of years.

You're right, there's about to be a baseball and softball field for Georgia state's athletic programs

I love that they were able to find another use for this stadium instead of tearing it down. It’s a beautiful building with a very unique history.
I got to see a Sunday afternoon game there in June of 2010 against my Detroit Tigers.

I used to go to many Braves games at Turner back in my childhood. Seeing Turner as a football field is a bit weird. They used to have a Cartoon Network pavilion for the kids and me and my little brother used to go over there most of the time instead of watching most of the game. Lol.
GSU can call it Center Parc Stadium, but to me, it’ll always be Turner Field.

Love hearing old stories about these stadiums, especially a unique one like this. Not many venues where the majority of the memories were based around an entirely different sport though!

Nice review! Hopefully as this team grows they’ll be able to put in more money for some much needed renovations to fully have it like an actual football stadium. Cause you can tell that there’s still plenty of work that has to be done.

Born in Atlanta. Season ticket holder at Turner Field so I have almost two decades as a home fan. Troy grad (1993) so I’ve been there as a guest as well for Sunbelt football. This stadium needs some money to continue to scale back to make this fit. I feel that this would be a great stadium for a second Atlanta bowl game but only if they make the modifications.

I wonder how it compares to when the raiders played in A’s stadium in Oakland, or if any other college teams have converted stadiums? Great production once again!

It doesn't look like it. The only other instance I can think of are a few bowl games. I know Northwestern is set to play Purdue at Wrigley Field in November! They played Illinois there in 2010, for that game the field parameters were so limited all offensive drives had to go to the west endzone. 😂Apparently the bullpens have been moved so now a regulation field can fit for the upcoming game!

@@RoadTeamReviews wasn’t the bullpens that made the difference. They made the home dugout removable so it can house part of the field
