Very impressive tones. Can you tell me what kind of strings are you using on your Gretsch G6119? I have one with .11 gauge, very nice sounding but the strings have a lot of tension (it's hard to play sometimes). Thanks
i just bought one used yesterday. here's the thing though. you have one more nob on the bottom and i have a second toggle beside the one you have. is yours not the japanese version? im baffled at how many versions of the same guitar ive seen so far.
There are a few version of the Tennessee Rose. The one in the video is the one I have, and is a modern version. It is Made in Japan, and features the Hi Filter-tron pick ups and has no zero fret. The other Tennessee Rose has the 2 toggle switch set up, on of the toggle switch is a 3 way tone control, the other a pick up switch, minus the tone knob, and a zero fret. Also has TV Jones Pick ups.Yours was part of the traditional collection had back in the 60's That is the difference. Both are very nice. The TV Jones pick ups are just slightly more amazing. I have them on a Gretsch Duo Jet.
So smooth.
Nice ! Gracias !!
That's some might fine picking!
I see you have another Gretsch on the rack back there....how would you compare them? Nice playing.
It's not a Gretsch... It's an Ibanez Archtop. Thanks!
