- This video is an add on to the Gel Printing and Mixed Media Series. The artwork demonstrated in video #8 - Adding Paint still has a ways to go before it can be called done. In this video I talk about ways of identifying problem areas and mixed media techniques for fixing them. As well as glazing, I will be demonstrating using a veil and also some more collage. I am quite pleased with the results. I hope you will join me on the journey!

Great information on problem solving!!! So well done. 👏👏👏Appreciate your sharing in detail your thought process and solutions! 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Kit, I love your work. It is so organic and you are a fabulous teacher. I live in Australia, but I’d love to do a workshop with you. Do you do online courses? So inspired by your videos! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much! There have been a few requests for an online workshop. I have done them in the past so I will consider it! Thanks for watching.
my real problem child here....as she gleefully rubs her hands.

Thank you from Canada!
Kit thank you for your generous explanations and demonstrations. This series is a marvel
Glad you are enjoying it and finding it helpful!
Kit, You're an extraordinary teacher. Thank you
You're very welcome!
I echo what other people have said here. I think your work is absolutely phenomenal. I’m very drawn to the botanic collages you have created. Might you do a class?
I have been quite overwhelmed by the response to my videos. I will think about a class maybe for the fall.
Thank you so much for this wonderful series
Glad you enjoy it!
Hi Kit eagerly awaiting your next vlog about the tissue paper you used !
Soon as we get back from our fishing trip! Of course I brought one of my Gelli plates to play with the local botanicals😅
Hi Kit, I’m new to your channel and the gelli plate. I love how there are endless possibilities for its use. Thank you so much for sharing your processes and thoughts as to what you are thinking during them. I’m fascinated and I would love to see more. I’m in South Surrey, BC and I get so excited when I find local artists to learn from. Thank you❤
I am planning to do more videos but I will be travelling for the next couple of months so it may be a bit of a wait.
@@KitBellArtist Safe travels and I will watch for your return!
Hi Kit Loved this series, thank you so so much. Did you make a video about the tissue paper you made with writing on it? ❤
Hi Charlotte. I am not sure which tissue you are referring to. Would you please send me a timecode where it is visible? Thanks - Kit
Sorry Kit, 14:50. Looks like it has some sort of text on. Really cool!
@@CharlotteMerl Yes! I create the tool (a toilet paper roll with glue gun marks added) in Tool Making for the Gel Plate - Part 1 and then print with it in Tool Making for the Gel Plate - Part 2. Enjoy!
@KitBellArtist thank you so much. I will watch now! ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your process! This really helps to see a painting.
When I got to this stage of the painting, I thought I bet people would be interested in this step! Sometimes demos don't really give you any idea of how the artist finishes it.
@@KitBellArtist Definitely! Some artist show the stages when they breeze through a painting, which is wonderful. But to see you handling the tricky parts is really helpful. Thank you!.

Excellent! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I've been following your '8-part" series :). I love every step you've taken and the product is just gorgeous.
Glad you like them!
Kit, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I know I’ll watch it again. Love your work!
Thank you so much!
I love your work and enjoy hearing and watching your process. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
this is a such a helpful series... keep on going, who's counting!?! ;-)
I had to laugh when I made #9! Obviously I didn't think about a couple of important steps when I planned out my "8 part" series. I have another one in the planning stages but I am traveling for a couple of months so it will not be out until summer.
