Fantastic video dude! The Future Redeemed DLC for Xenoblade 3 is my GOTY choice, the story is just utterly amazing and wraps up the first trilogy perfectly! Excellent choice in Sea of Stars on your end as well, I really wanna play that game in 2024!

Man, I thought this was finally going to be Quest 64's year. Oh well, there's always next year. Super Mario Wonder coming in the mail tomorrow, looking forward to the first main series Mario game I'll have played since Mario 64.

@@FeralInferno Having fun with it, killing it on 50cc! Getting used to the courses, trying out all the new racers--I thought one of the Koopa kids might be my new go-to, but now I'm starting to think no one can ever beat Wario.
@@miked.3352 there are a lot of courses in this one,96 altogether with the DLC. Crazy stuff. Still remember having 16 courses and thinking that was impressive HOL

Chrono Trigger is well regarded for good reason. Excellent game all around. Plus, you'll like this part: the characters were designed by the same guy who did Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama.
I might have to check out Sea of Stars! I'm glad you didn't say Tears. lol. I don't know man... I love the game but to me, it just feels like a expansion/long DLC of Breath. I was happy to see Baldur's Gate 3 bring home the big title today. I really enjoyed thar game so much that I was waking up early before work on and getting some playtime in. Besides that, Spiderman 2 was in my top three. My son and I just started playing Wonder and loving it so far!
If you're into old school, turn-based RPGs, especially from the 16/32 bit era then you'll love Sea of Stars. Agreed on Tears of the Kingdom. It's just more of the same. The building mechanic was neat but you could only keep your creations for such a short time. I haven't played Baldur's Gate 3 or Spider-Man 2 but I know that people really liked those titles. Super Mario Wonder is a nice slice of life game. No pressure. Can play a few levels and call it a day. Thanks for the great comment!
Honestly the building mechanic I think is what makes Tears soooo cool. Watching people craft these mechs with weapons, ships to sail across hyrule, etc. If you like tactical rpgs and D&D, Baldurs Gate 3 is amazing. @@FeralInferno

Tears of the Kingdom is still an amazing game. Objectively, it is probably the better game. But man. Sea of Stars really hit me hard in the retro feels. An amazing year for gaming! Thanks GRW! How is Chrono Trigger going? Last I heard you were at the Kingdom of Zeal, right?
I mean in fairness to Nintendo the fog in Zelda is probably part of the optimization for the frame rate. Hopefully the new system will give them more freedom in designing their games.
Oh yeah, I totally get the optimization thing. It just kind of hurts the exploration for me. Word on the street is the new Switch will be backwards compatible and will have an ability to optimize paat games. We shall see!
