What the fuck is up with this stupid ass story. I really hope the old Thor gets back soon.
It's sad that Jane is Better with the Hammer then the actual Thor.... Her weather Manipulation her ability to use it like caps shield. They are really trying t make her superior to him in everyway. Hell even BEATING ODIN? The amount of Bullshit is saddening and instea dof making a likeable character they've made there own Version of Robo Batman with fans just waiting to go back to the original.

I think it implies that Thor (Odinson) could stand toe-to-toe with his father
Tim Griffins Which wouldn't make sense because its consitently been shown that Thor is not on his fathers level as his Father has stood toe to toe with Thanos and Galactus. Two beings that Thor has been able to damage but even at full power not enough to actually hurt.
Tex The Slayer If Thor went full out, you don't think he could severely wound his father? Even beat him up quite a bit? Thor has gone up against a God Killer. Whether it was the power of Thor, or Odinson, someone ruthless with Mjolnir could do some serious damage.
That's not the point, the point is that Jason Aaron took Odin, and morphed him into a caricature of "The Patriarchy" so that Thor can use her mighty powers of the Mary Sue to somehow be more skilled at using Mjolnir, Jason Aaron should be driven out of comics for what he did to Thor, Jane Foster IS NOT AND SHALL NEVER BE THOR!
How is Thor able to take on Odin?

As a considerable number of fans of Thor voiced their dissatisfaction with the publicity stunt that is the Jane Foster run, the writers behind this comic are continuously trying to show that Jane Foster is "super" thus making her into a Mary Sue of sorts...

this story is sort of a mess , its problem is poor characterization.

I actually like her a bit but her whooping on Odin that i cant see. Bad writing for that part and i can deal with a lot and the change but her beating on Odin with no logical explanation is what i cant believe or accept.

Although I like the concept of Fem-Thor, the writer/Story developer could've done some more revisions to the story.
I like this female version of thor The fact that she's a cancer patient means she has no fear of dying in battle I am waiting with anticipation to see how her story ends

The twist ending to the story was pretty good. Marvel's lost original sin's Thor and brought thru Thor-prime after the events of Secret Wars. How is he gonna develop and deal with the world he's now a part of to reclaim his role being worthy enough. Jane Foster's seems like a storyline place holder in that respect (...unless she isn't?). It's almost meta! I'll be interested to see what happens once Odinson escapes and the two meet up.

What a convoluted story
I feel there are no consecuences, no stakes.
Odin goes tyrant because... why not? His brother the bad guy as "justice" forgiven for his crimes? why? freya punished? so what? she even point´s this out, he can do whatever he wants to silence her, it won´t matter. Because Odin, for all the power he has, has never been a real treat. It´s not like Odin is gonna murder someone remotely important, Jane has little conection to the storyline has it is.
How comes Odin who previously could humble thor, suddenly gets his ass kicked? remember that it was him who taught "humility" to "odinson"? No humility here!
Why would a bomb take her transformation away, only to leave her unskated after she picks up the hammer?
Even thor´s rogues gallery comes as little treat to Jane "Thor"; since they don´t know her and most manipulators (like Loki or Malakat, or Enchantress) have to know what tickles you to get to you. They are just gonna keep sending random bad guys at her? boring.
Still, instead of exploring any plotpoints from the previous comics (like what fury said, or why she went to the moon to pick the hammer for the first time), they leave them as plotholes thru the whole history. And people don´t care.
And after all this run, still, no character development. Thor hasn´t learned a thing or changed her opinion on anything.
This is crappy writting.
odinson couldn't even move Odin when he first fought him yet Jane knocks Odin to Saturn's moon ridiculous, still a great fight tho and MAN I can't wait to see the story behind odinson being caged.
I don't even know how to feel about Loki anymore.
I want to like this series, they just need to stop writing it so poorly. Odin vs. Thor, sounds epic right? The final confrontation between father and son. But this isn't that Thor, so there is no emotion to Odin being the villain for her, he's just another enemy.

I'm ready for the original Thor to come back now. This one is fun, but there can only be one true Thor. And just like Gordon Batman and Falcon America, it was only a matter of time until their original counterparts reclaimed their titles.

Funny thing was that in the End of the world's time line before secret wars, it showed 616 Thor wielding an unworthy Mjolnir, then when the final battle began, he couldn't pick it back up because he became worthy again.
Who soever lift this hammer, if he'd be unworthy he shall posses the power of Thorr.
