    I always love these interviews Joe! I just went and watched all this guy's videos and I can safely say he is in the beta quadra. Especially while watching his first two videos you can see how his whole objective is to bring people together through mbti. IDK I think INFJ but this video makes him seem extroverted. and while it looks like he is pulling his punches a lot in this interview I think he's just trying to be nice

      I think probably right, I haven't narrowed it down but he also said alot of Gamma things too 😬

    • @huddlereric
      @huddlereric 6 місяців тому +3

      @@GhostofJung The reason I excluded the gamma possibility was from one comment I saw he made a while ago talking about the importance of compassion and mentoring people to see the right way of doing things. Gammas just do their own thing.

    Great interview ! I discovered his channel 4 or 6 months ago - You always find great titles ⭐
    I agree, if we operate not like our type (not self), when we use for too long or too much our lower functions. in the worst case, it causes traumas.
    From my perception, this is also what creates bore-out, burn-out, stress, anxiety, exhaustion.
    Thank you all from being part of my plans to spread mbti, typology all over the world 😆(Joke)
    Ni dom content creators are undervalued.

    6:49 He sounds weirdly entp. Bc he sounds like me. A bit. I first thought he had Te, but not sharing your type. That's such a strategic high level move, i can't see the reason of, and i respect that.

    • @PsychologyoftheBrain
      @PsychologyoftheBrain 6 місяців тому

      7:36 DING DING DING. it is a call I dislike making, but he sounds incredibly familiar. ENTP is on the radar. He is combining concepts seemlessly, I really like how he is talking.

    • @PsychologyoftheBrain
      @PsychologyoftheBrain 6 місяців тому

      Clearly intuition is high. He isn't talking sensory. There is no evidence whatsoever in the first 8 minutes. He is also not saying much. He is strangely defensive in offensiveness. He is leading and directing conversation meticulously. That's a strange ENTP trait, but in the first 13 minutes it's just that. It's not anything clear just yet, but I am keeping an eye on that for sure

    • @PsychologyoftheBrain

      13:52 again, passing the ball to the opposite court. While it isn't saying anything by doing this, it is very clearly engineered. Not saying anything is in this case maybe saying something, but I don't know how. It feels ENTP, but maybe entj. Then again Joe is more entj here. Connecting the dots of the puzzle made by Albury.

    • @PsychologyoftheBrain

      17:14 look at his body gestures. Look at him talking. He is confident in explaining a concept he knows and he knows only. Now that could be an ENTJ INTJ impersonating knowing something. It is weird how this works, but someone who practiced body gestures can really kill these tells for example, need more info.

    • @PsychologyoftheBrain

      Ti also is high. But now I have no fucking clue which thinking intuiting it be. Too little info

    I think he is an Fi dom for sure, problably an INFP like indeed a Matt Sherman as Matt GUess has mentioned. He has the same sort of "angelic softness" too. In his first video it's often about getting somewhere with typology (Te rather than Ti). If he talks about understanding things, it may seem Ti to some but in the end it's always about human orientated (like less suffering etc aka humans (F)+ progress (Te)) rather than just getting theoretical which would be more Ti. What also seems most Fi doms _so often_ say is things like 'we're all human'. It's like going back to the concept of what a human is to begin with and then of courseyou see a lot of similarities, just as Ti reasons from the bottom an goes outwards to the superficial or visible. It starts with its basis and then builds outward, rather than Fe and Te that start from the outisde (the 'superficial/visible") an build inward. I think the reason that at least his first video is like that is just cause it comes easy to him becasue he problablt pretty good with artistic things naturally. I bet is he good at things like poetry too.
    What I also found FI is how he said he's gonna blow the other guy's mind by saying itst the first time him opreating a camera. It does not come across as Fe that would be aware that comes across as a sort of hidden arrogance, like fishing for a compliment . I think Fi doms can have that sort of supressed superiority/inferiority about them..like they want to be this perfect, friendly and good human, but sometimes these sort of less optimal human flaws that we all have still leak still. You can sense he's very, very self controlled..as he's purposely revealing a portion of himself, yet 80% does not let you see the real him.
    Also, in his expressions there is a lot of these slighly expressions of 'disguest' (although that is a strong word) that you basicaly never see in Fe/Ti axis people. They either have no expression at all (Ti) or some superficial smile or friendly expression (Fe) . However, that is expression is usually just there the whole time or not. With this guy it seemed his expression changes per word, possibly becaus ehe has an emotiona reaction to ever word he says.

      He clearly doesn't wanna say what his type is, so why are you trying to broadcast it?

  • @PsychologyoftheBrain

    Btw, entp here. Currently in the process of solving MBTI. Also my algorithm gods showed me the same video. Just a little nugget:
    1 mbti is real
    2 mbti isn't real
    3 nothing in mbti is as it seems
    4 but oh boy is it accurate, but it isn't precise
    The problem of mbti is that it is a problem. It is not the answer. It contains the answer, but it isn't the answer.

    There is the temptation to armchair type this lad due to the clickbait title and his stated desire to not dwell on his own type. So I apologize for taking the bait. He's an INFP type 9. Very similar to Matt Sherman in temperament. Actually, 1 video a month isn't too bad of a track record for an INFP considering inferior Te. Especially if he has a enneagram 1 wing. I also called that he would say ENTJ for the film team. And I have a feeling he will eventually find himself an adequate ENTJ mentor, as the INFP would naturally seek one out whether they realize it or not.
    Also, an ISTP buddy is the other secret weapon for INFP growth. Once you get past your Fi sensitivity it just works. A lot to learn from their Ti and Se as it covers your weak spots. And they can use Te well when needed.
    On the topic of types and innate strengths, I'll give two examples. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kobe Bryant are both typed as ENTJs. One of the greatest bodybuilders and athletes of all time are intuitive types with Se child. Put that into perspective. The more pedestrian example of this is your typical INTJ who is intrigued by their inferior function and finds great satisfaction in pursuing some sort of physical hobby--like our host here with the 5k. But at the same time, in still remains true that for every type, you have to give up something in order to specialize in one or more cognitive areas.

      I’ve already made a few arguments else where in these comments but he’s not INFP. Remember first that this title is not for his own video, this is Joes channel. If anything click bait titles are indicative of ENTJs, which this guy is obviously not since he seems to value social harmony, and his own videos are not click bait. My argument before is that he must be a very social INFJ and if you consider his 1 video a month as an Se inferior this seems pretty good. He’s not Se blind like INFP because he doesn’t have that spacey dream like persona. It’s waaaaay more of a focused gaze. And for ENTJ he said he DIDNT want ENTJ on his team because they don’t get along. Interesting. The infj supervisor relationship. Worst possible match. He said something about a struggling power dynamic. Perhaps he’s ENFJ and they both want to be in charge.
      As far as fi sensitivity, this did not stick out at me in him. He seems actually very confident. Someone else has expressed this too that his arguments were very calm.
      As far as type and fitness I agree that it’s not innate in type but probably more likely in sensors. Just like some sensors can do intuitive things. But Kobe is definitely ISxP. Maybe ISFP. Arnold ENTJ makes sense but if you look at older videos of him he appears quite introverted. sfp is very possible and it’s the same Quadra just reversed.

      @@Hajeem-jb2gk Language: 2:10 "I feel like...", 2:50: "I do feel like...fundamental value of mine" Eyes: looking up to the left or right when accessing thoughts (Ne). No fe expressiveness/mannerisms. Way too many appeals to credible experts (7:16: "Dario Nardi talks about..."), authority (8:25: "I think a quote by Nietschze...), and facts (Te) to point out them all during the course of this interview and in his channel's videos. He clearly values Te. His The Truth About MBTI video is all about how other people's thinking on MBTI is wrong. He is very aware of how other people think. INFJs don't know or care how other people think. They also aren't going to preach that self-observation and self-analysis will reveal the truth due to Fi-critic. An INFP would however suggest that as its their dominant drive to do so. I also don't think an INFJ would approve of the unvalidated and lazy Ti argument presented at 16:18: regarding the root cause of psychosis.
      22:15: "...in the past I have had such terrible experiences with ENTJs" can not be taken in any way other than as an argument for an Si user.
      24:47: "Every great writer of all time is typed as an INFP...." is a Te statement. He follows that up with "I don't know if that's true or not" which once again indicates lack of Ti. A Ti user innately knows what is true and what is false.

    It is a very common thing to misinterpret Ti with Ni. I have watched this gent Joe. A good guy and good content. Very indecisive and lacks conviction, which is very Fi. I would type him as INFP. Definitely not Ni or Ti.

      If he is an Fi-dom,
      then I would think that he is more likely an ISFP (instead of INFP).
      I detect much more of a "laser focused"-type of conceptual thinking/ideas/communication style/etc..
      which is one significant aspect of the nature of Ni(,
      instead of the geiser-like constant topic-switching/topic-stearing/viewpoint switching/etc.. nature of Ne).
